1.The
Race – prologue
(This story is
not in earth 1, this story happens in different earth so the laws and rules
will be different even some places will be different)
Somewhere near Goa...
It’s a lonely road. The
wind was blowing hard, and the forest surrounded the area. A full moon lit the
darkness.
A red Ford Mustang raced
down the road at full speed.
“Gowtham!” shouted Giri
(fair-skinned, black eyes, short hair, with a goatee, wearing a grey blazer).
“Slow down, please! We’re almost there… and the road is too dark. We only have
the moonlight.”
Gowtham (fair-skinned,
brown eyes, short hair, 5’5”, wearing a grey blazer) laughed. “Sorry, Giri… I
can’t do anything now.”
“Why?” Giri asked.
“Look behind,” Gowtham
said. “That black Ford Mustang—it is racing with us. They won’t just pass us. They
will hit us, the car lost control, and throw us into the forest.”
Giri gulped. “Then fine…
don’t slow down. But…”
Their bad luck struck. The
black Mustang sped up and came right beside them. Both cars now raced side by
side.
The windows of the black
Mustang slowly rolled down.
“Who are they?” Giri
asked, uneasily.
“They’re the Samy
Brothers,” Gowtham said grimly. “Four-time champions of this race in a row. No
one has beaten them in the past four years.”
“So how are we supposed to
win?” Giri asked.
Gowtham smirked. “First,
we need to stay alive. They will kill us if we don’t let them pass.”
“Then let them pass!” Giri
shouted. “I want to live!”
“Maybe you do… but I
don’t.” Gowtham’s voice went cold.
Giri’s heart sank at those
words.
Five minutes passed. The
cars still raced side by side. Giri glanced at the Samy brothers. Both men
(short black hair, black eyes, wearing black jackets and blue jeans) looked at
him and smiled darkly. Giri forced a smile back—then froze. His eyes widened in
shock. Fear gripped him.
Panicking, he grabbed
Gowtham’s arm and yanked the steering wheel. Gowtham gasped in shock,
accidentally pressing the accelerator instead of the brake.
The car swerved violently,
tearing into the woods. Both screamed as the Mustang plunged into a 15-foot
valley and flipped, landing upside down.
Giri lay bleeding heavily.
His watch read 11 p.m. Gowtham, with only minor injuries, turned to him.
“Danger…” Gowtham
whispered. “I’m sorry. To save you, I have to do this.”
Giri, crying in pain,
nodded weakly. “What…?”
Then it happened.
Gowtham’s eyes turned bright yellow. His teeth elongated into fangs. In an
instant, he bit Giri’s neck.
Giri screamed as wolves
howled in the distance. His eyes turned yellow… then closed.
When he opened them
again—he was in his room, lying in bed.
He screamed and shot up.
“Why are you always
screaming?” Gowtham asked, standing at the door. “Relax. You’re alive, and
you’re home. My parents are still in Australia.”
“What happened last night?
Did we win?” Giri asked, holding his head.
“What do you remember?”
Gowtham asked.
“I remember… the brothers.
Their faces. After that… nothing. Everything’s blank.”
“We lost,” Gowtham said
calmly. “They hit our car. I lost control. We crashed into a tree. You hit your
head. Probably temporary memory loss.”
“So… I forgot everything?”
Giri asked.
“Not everything,” Gowtham
said. “Just the accident.”
“Thank God…” Giri sighed
in relief and walked into the restroom.
As soon as the door shut,
Gowtham pulled out his phone and called a contact: Riya Glenda.
She answered.
“Thanks for coming last
night,” Gowtham said.
Flashback – Last Night
The Mustang lay wrecked in the
valley. Gowtham unclipped his seatbelt, but it was stuck. He closed his eyes.
When they opened again, glowing yellow, he transformed. With monstrous
strength, he kicked the door open.
He emerged—a full werewolf.
Ripping open the passenger door, he
freed the unconscious Giri and carried him out. Then he called Riya.
“Riya, I need your help. Now.”
She sighed. “I am coming. Where is
your kid?”
“I’ll send the location.” He texted
her.
Moments later, a cracking sound
echoed behind him. An old black tree split open. Out stepped Riya (dusky skin,
curly black hair tipped with red, wearing a night dress, 5’5”).
Gowtham’s jaw dropped.
“Close your mouth, Decuolf,”
she said dryly.
He snapped it shut.
“What happened? And who’s this?”
she asked, pointing to Giri.
“He’s my friend,” Gowtham said,
explaining everything until the crash.
“So, what now?”
“You’re a witch. Make him forget
the accident. Let him only remember up to the brothers’ faces.”
“Fine.” She placed her hand on
Giri’s head, chanting a mantra. His memories appeared before her like glowing
threads. She showed them to Gowtham.
“This one?” she asked.
“Yes,” he confirmed.
She pulled it out, sealed it in
golden light, and erased it.
“There. He won’t remember.”
“Thank you,” Gowtham said.
“Don’t thank me yet. How are you
going home?”
“Can you… fix the car?” Gowtham
asked sheepishly.
Riya groaned. “Not again. This is
the 50th time.”
“Last time, I promise.”
She muttered another mantra. The
wrecked car reassembled itself, glowing blue before looking brand new.
“Done. Now I need to go before my
family notices. Call me tomorrow.” She vanished into the black tree.
Gowtham carried Giri into the car
and drove back.
Present Day
Giri woke up, clueless
about the truth.
Riya told Gowtham later:
“Don’t worry. Your bite only cured him. Remember—three bites: Death, Change,
Cure. You gave him the Cure. You can’t cure anyone else for two years.”
Relieved, Gowtham smiled.
Still, Riya warned, “Keep
an eye on him. He’s worthy to be in your pack.”
Later, Giri came out of
the restroom, smiling. “It felt good, recreating memories after 12 years. Back
then, we raced bicycles. Now, cars.”
Gowtham chuckled.
That night at the railway
station, Giri boarded a train south.
“Why not a flight?”
Gowtham asked.
“I love trains,” Giri
grinned.
They waved goodbye as the
train pulled away.
Two Years Later –
Tirupuram (Tirupur) Airport, 2 a.m.
Giri (blue shirt, black
pants, full beard) waited outside for Gowtham’s arrival. Gowtham (white shirt,
black pants, clean-shaven) appeared.
They hugged warmly.
After greetings and
teasing about careers— “Mr. Game Developer” and “Doctor”—they reached Gowtham’s
home.
At 3:30 a.m., Giri left,
promising to meet again tomorrow.
As he lay in bed, his eyes
flickered yellow before closing.
Next Morning – 9 a.m.
Giri groaned as his phone
rang.
“Why call so early?” he
mumbled.
“For you, 9 a.m. is
early,” Gowtham laughed.
“Fine. What is it?”
“Don’t make plans tonight.
We’re going to a bachelor party. Wear something blue.”
“Whose party?”
“Surprise. I’ll pick you
up.”
2.Meeting
an old friend
Evening. Giri opened his wardrobe, took his blue
blazer, and wore it. A car horn sounded. He went out and closed his house door.
Gowtham was wearing a blue half waistcoat. Giri
opened the car door and sat inside. Gowtham said, “Come dude, let’s move the
car.”
Giri asked, “Now tell me, whose bachelor’s party
are we going to?”
Gowtham smiled.
Giri said, “Don’t just smile, say it.”
Gowtham said, “Okay, we are going to Shivani’s bachelor party.”
Giri said, “What? That girl hates me to the core. We were almost enemies back
then. If she sees me, she’ll get angry. And she didn’t even invite me.”
Gowtham said, “Stop! Stop dude, she only asked me to invite you, okay.”
Giri asked, “Really? Did she?”
Gowtham said, “Yeah.”
Giri said, “Cool.”
They reached Shivani’s guest house. The party was
going on there. Gowtham parked the car and said, “Don’t get scared, she won’t
eat you.”
Giri smiled.
The party was in the garden, both walked there. A
hand touched Giri from behind. It was a man. He said, “Find me, who am I,
without looking.”
Giri said, “Oh really, I know who you are.” He said the name: “Uvaise, my
buddy.”
“Yes, it’s me!” Uvaise said. Giri turned around, hugged him, and said, “It’s
been 11 years since I left school and stopped visiting you guys. By the way,
how are you?”
Uvaise said, “I’m good.”
Gowtham said, “Come guys, let’s go and have some
drinks.” They went to the wet bar. The bartender was giving drinks to all.
Uvaise asked for three glasses of beer, but Giri said, “No, just two. Give me a
cola.”
Uvaise asked, “Won’t you drink?”
Giri said, “Yes.”
Gowtham laughed, “He’s a teetotaler.”
Gowtham asked, “Okay, where’s our bride?”
Uvaise said, “She’s there, near the ice cream box.”
There were five girls standing.
Gowtham said, “Oh there she is. Okay, come guys, let’s go and talk with her.”
Uvaise said, “I already talked to her, you both go.”
Gowtham said, “Okay, come Giri, let’s go.”
Giri was a little panicked. Gowtham saw his face
and said, “Dude, she won’t eat you.”
Giri said, “Okay.” They both went near her.
Gowtham said, “Hello Shivani.” (black hair, brown
eyes).
Shivani turned back, saw Gowtham, and said, “Hey Gowtham, how are you?”
He said, “I’m good, and what about you?”
She said, “I’m great.” Then she saw Giri and smiled. “How are you, Giri?”
Giri said in a low voice, “I’m good. And how are you?”
“I’m good,” said Shivani.
She said, “Giri, whatever happened in school is
past. Forget it and be happy.”
Giri smiled and said, “Okay, Shivani.”
She took a ring from her bag and gave it to Giri.
She said, “This is for our friendship.”
Giri put the ring on his right hand’s ring finger. He looked at the ring, and
his eyes glowed golden for a second. Shivani saw it. She looked at Gowtham and
winked both eyes. Gowtham nodded his head.
Shivani looked behind Giri and shouted with joy,
“Hey, Twinkle!”
Giri’s face was full of shock and happiness. He turned around and saw her. Giri
smiled. Shivani went and hugged Twinkle (brown hair, black eyes). Behind Giri,
music played: “Oru Devathai Parkum Neram Ithu.”
Giri asked Gowtham, “Dude, it’s Twinkle!”
He asked, “Who is she?”
“Don’t you remember? She studied with us for three years.”
He said, “No, I don’t remember.”
Twinkle was standing alone near the fountain. Giri
went near her and said, “Hello Twinkle, how are you?”
She said, “I’m fine, but who are you?”
Giri said, “It’s me, Giri. Don’t you remember me?”
She said, “No, I don’t remember. Sorry.”
From 10 feet away, Gowtham and Uvaise were
watching. When she said she didn’t remember, both started laughing. Giri came
back to them with a sad face.
He said, “All these years I’ve been waiting to meet her, but she didn’t even
remember me.”
He looked at her again. Shivani was talking with
her, and Twinkle was pointing at Giri and saying something.
Gowtham said, “Shivani is going to bash you, be
ready.”
Shivani came to them and said, “Guys, and Giri, did you talk with her?”
He said, “Yes. I asked if she remembers me, but she didn’t.”
Shivani said, “She didn’t remember you because a
few years ago, she met with an accident and lost her memory. Mostly, she
doesn’t remember her school days.”
Uvaise said, “That’s why she didn’t remember him or any of us. But how does she
remember you?”
Shivani said, “I’m her friend from childhood. I go to Mumbai every year, so
we’re still close.”
Giri, with a sad face, asked, “When will she regain all her memories?”
She said, “The doctor said it’s all fate. She can remember anytime. But years
have passed and she hasn’t.”
Giri said, “Okay, don’t worry. She will remember.”
Uvaise said, “Come Giri, let’s go to the
restroom.”
Giri said, “Okay.” They both left the place.
Now Gowtham and Shivani were alone. He said, “Hey,
thank you, decuolf, for giving him the anti-werewolf ring (he cannot turn into
a werewolf anytime until he removes it, except on a full moon day).”
She said, “It’s okay, he’s my friend too. But you said you just cured him, then
why are you asking me for an anti-werewolf ring?”
He replied, “For his safety. Some bites may take many years to react.”
Shivani said, “Anyway, he got that ring.”
Hours passed. It was 11 p.m. Giri was near the
buffet eating food. Uvaise was fully high, and Aravind was talking with Giri
about his work. Gowtham came to Giri and asked, “Shall we move, Giri?”
Giri said bye to Aravind and Uvaise, and told Uvaise, “Reach home safely.”
When they reached near the car, Shivani and
Twinkle came to them. Shivani called Gowtham. He turned and asked, “What,
Shivani?”
She said, “I need your help.”
He asked, “What help?”
At that time, Giri was staring at Twinkle’s eyes,
feeling sad about her condition.
Shivani said, “Twinkle needs to go to Mumbai the
day after tomorrow. You know that for the next three days no flights are going
to North India. She’s going by car, but we need you to accompany her.”
Gowtham said, “But Shivani, I have work to do this whole week.”
Shivani said, “Oh no, everyone is so busy this week.”
Gowtham turned to Giri and saw him. He said,
“Okay, I got a guy.”
Shivani asked, “Who?”
He said, “Giri will accompany Twinkle. He’ll take care of her.”
Giri said, “What?”
Gowtham whispered in Giri’s ear, “It’s a good chance. 24 hours of travel. You
can make her remember her school days.”
Giri smiled and said, “Okay. Okay, Shivani, I’ll go with her.”
Shivani said, “Better you stay there for a week,
because my marriage is in Mumbai. Stay and attend my marriage. I’ll be there a
day before, even Gowtham will come too.”
Giri was on cloud nine and said, “Okay.”
“Tomorrow morning, 9 a.m., be here. You both will
start your journey from here.”
Gowtham said, “Okay, I’ll drop him off tomorrow.”
Twinkle said, “Thank you, Giri.”
Giri, blushing, said, “Say it after reaching Mumbai. Anyway, you’re welcome.”
Twinkle said, “Okay, I’ll go pack my things.” She left.
Now Giri and Gowtham sat in the car. Giri was so
happy. He closed his eyes and started to imagine. Gowtham saw Shivani and
raised his thumbs with a smile. She too smiled and did the same.
Flashback (1 hour ago):
Shivani and Gowtham were standing near the fountain. Shivani said,
“Twinkle needs to go to Mumbai because her uncle is in serious condition in the
hospital. She needs to go, but there’s no one to accompany her.”
Gowtham asked, “What can I do?”
She asked, “Can you go with her?”
He said, “No, I have a mission here to kill Raj and his pack. It’s a hard one,
others cannot do it.”
She asked, “Oh, he killed two of your pack members last week, right?”
He said, “Yes. And even if I go—” He pointed at Giri. “—if I go with her, he’ll
be mad and jealous.”
Shivani asked, “Why?”
He said, “Giri has a crush on her since childhood. Maybe he’s in love too.”
Shivani said, “Oh, that’s why he feels pity for her. Okay. And she’s single
too. Let’s make a plan. I’ll ask your help, you deny it, then tell Giri to go.”
He asked, “Will it work?”
She said, “100%. It will work.”
3.
The journey.
Gowtham and Giri reached
Shivani’s home in the car. Both were still sitting inside, and Giri was very
happy.
Gowtham asked, “You’re
excited, right?”
Giri said, “Yes.”
Gowtham said, “Be a gentleman with her, and try not to flirt too much.”
Giri replied, “People call me a gentleman, so don’t worry, I won’t make her
feel bad.”
Gowtham shook his head and said, “Is it so?”
Suddenly, a loud horn
sound came — bam bam! Both turned to their left as a car pulled out.
Giri opened his mouth wide and said, “This car is bloody awesome.”
Gowtham said, “Enjoy, man.”
Giri got out and took his
bag from the car boot. Twinkle was in the driver’s seat. She opened her boot,
and Giri loaded his bag. Shivani was standing behind the car.
Shivani said, “Go, Giri,
get in.”
Giri went and sat inside. Twinkle said bye to Shivani and Gowtham.
Gowtham said, “Careful, man.”
Giri smiled and said, “Okay.”
Shivani stopped them,
handed Twinkle a black-colored bottle, and said, “Don’t forget to drink this.”
Giri asked, “Oh, she drinks black water?”
Shivani said, “Yes.”
Twinkle asked Giri, “Do you want to drink it?”
Giri said, “No, no, I don’t like it.”
Twinkle smiled at Giri and said thank you to Shivani. When Twinkle said thank
you, Giri was blushing.
Twinkle started driving
the car. As they moved, she asked Giri, “So, what are you doing?”
Giri said, “I am a game developer.”
She said, “Oh, great. How many games have you developed?”
He said, “Just 2. One is going to release soon, and another already released
last week.”
She asked, “What is the name of the game that got released?”
He said, “Mystic School.”
“Wait! Did you say Mystic School?”
Giri said, “Yes, why?”
She said, “One of my guy friends told me about that game. He’s been playing it
for a week. He’s mad about that game.”
Giri said, “Oh, guy friend?”
She said, “Yes, he’s like my brother, but we are close friends.”
Giri said, “Oh, good, like a bro.”
She said, “Yeah, yeah.”
Giri asked, “What are you
doing in Mumbai, and how is your life there?”
She said, “I’m a writer and journalist, but right now I’m focusing only on
writing. Mumbai life is good — a fun-filled city, more crimes, nightlife. I
enjoy it, but my family says they love this place more than Mumbai. People are
good here.”
Giri said, “Yes. But you don’t like this place?”
She said, “No, I like this
place. This is absolutely new to me.”
Giri looked at her with a question mark on his face. She saw that and said, “I
know why you’re looking at me like this. Yes, I’ve been here before, but you
know that I don’t remember anything after that accident.”
Giri said, “Yes, Shivani told me.”
She continued, “I came here for two reasons — for the bachelor party and to try
to remember my life here, but I didn’t.”
Giri said, “One day you’ll remember all the memories from here.”
Twinkle looked at him and said, “Hope so. One thing, Giri, I want to get
settled here and marry a guy from here.”
Giri said, “That will happen,” and smiled. Both smiled at each other.
She was driving the car
for more than 3 hours. Giri was sleeping. She looked at him and smiled,
thinking, this guy is innocent, funny, and sweet.
She saw a Moon Bucks
coffee shop, stopped the car, bought 2 big coffees, and went near Giri’s door.
She knocked. Giri woke up and opened the window. She gave him the coffee.
He said, “Thank you.”
She got back into the
driver’s seat and started drinking. Giri was holding his cup but hadn’t sipped
it yet. She noticed and asked, “Hey, don’t you like coffee?”
Giri said, “No, I like coffee,” and smiled. He took a sip and said, “Hmm, it
tastes good.”
She said, “So this is the first time you’re drinking coffee here?”
He said, “Yes.”
She smiled and said, “Okay.”
Giri asked, “So where are
we now?”
She said, “We’re in Talavadi.”
He said, “Okay, we have more hours to travel. It’s boring, right?”
She said, “Yes, but after evening the ride will be fun. Until then, you can
nap.”
He said, “No, I came to give you company.”
She said, “Yes, but not now, I can manage in the daytime,” and smiled.
Giri said, “Okay, I’m going to sleep. If you get bored, wake me up, okay?”
She said, “Okay.” She started the car and drove away.
Meanwhile, in Tirupur…
Gowtham and his team were
standing outside an abandoned mill. With him were 5 others, all Decuolfs.
Gowtham called a guy
standing near him.
“Hey Sandeep, how many of them are there, did you guess?”
He said, “Yes, there are 10 members, all Wolftos.”
Gowtham said, “We are only 5. Can we defeat them all?”
Sandeep said, “Hmm, I think we can.”
Gowtham asked, “Okay, tell me how many chances we have.”
Sandeep said, “Well… 50%.”
Gowtham said, “Let’s go
and defeat them.”
Sandeep shouted, “Boys, let’s go inside!”
All of them jumped over
the compound wall and entered the mill. It was 750 meters long, filled with
machines. They moved in stealth mode, only 50 meters away from the Wolftos.
Inside, the Wolfto gang
was discussing something.
A guy said, “Team, we got a new assignment. We must capture this girl.”
Another guy asked, “Who is it, Raj?”
Raj took out his phone and showed a picture. Everyone shouted, “Okay!” and
asked, “When should we do it?”
Raj said, “By now she’s traveling to Mumbai. We should go and find her soon. We
attached a GPS in her car so we can track her. Guys, 15 crore bounty to kill
her. Our boss, Revand, the king of all alphas, gave us this mission.”
Gowtham whispered, “Guys,
come. We can kill them. Alpha isn’t here, and these guys don’t look strong.”
Sandeep said, “Okay.”
They crept up behind the
gang.
Sandeep shouted, “Hey gang of douchebags, are you ready to die?”
The Wolftos turned. Raj
smirked and said, “Oh, finally you came here to die. Guys, we’re getting extra
pay!”
Gowtham asked, “What pay?”
Raj said, “There’s a bounty on you and your gang — 2 crores.”
Sandeep asked, “Who wants us dead? We’re not worth that much.”
Raj said, “Exactly. That’s why you’re just worth 2 crores.”
A guy from Gowtham’s gang said, “There are 5 of us, but only worth 2 crores?”
Raj said, “Yes, but in your team there were 6 — and one is already dead.”
Gowtham said, “Enough. Let
us fight and see whose worth something.”
Raj said, “Yes, we’ll see.”
Both teams stared at each
other. Gowtham’s eyes turned yellow (Beta wolf). Sandeep and the other three
turned blue (Omega wolf). Raj and his team also turned blue.
Gowtham and his gang
transformed into Decuolfs. Raj’s gang transformed into Wolftos.
The fight began.
Sandeep tore apart two
Wolftos. The others also killed their opponents, except Gowtham, who faced Raj.
Raj growled, “You killed my pack! I won’t spare you, Gowtham!”
Gowtham laughed and said, “This is what happens when anyone touches our pack or
Decuolf.”
Raj charged at Gowtham,
but with one punch, Gowtham knocked him down. He forced Raj to kneel and said,
“Die, my fellow wolf.” Then he ripped his throat.
Gowtham stood tall, raised
his hand to his pack, and said, “We’re not done, but let’s enjoy this victory.”
Sandeep went near Raj’s
clothes and took his mobile.
Gowtham asked, “Why are you taking that?”
Sandeep said, “We heard them. They were capturing a girl for 15 crores.”
Gowtham said, “Yes. Okay, check her picture.”
Sandeep laughed, “This Raj didn’t even set a password!” He opened the chat box,
saw the picture, and said, “She’s beautiful.”
He showed the photo to
Gowtham. Gowtham was shocked.
He said, “She is my old classmate.”
Sandeep asked, “Who is it?”
Gowtham smiled and said, “I’ll tell you. But first, I should tell you who
Revand is.”
4. Revand’s Origin
Gowtham started saying the
story might be a myth or a true one.
Four hundred years ago, a
pure-blood vampire and a pure-blood werewolf were born in Kashmir. Their names
were Iravati and Kanhaiya. Both were 18 years old. They lived in different
villages but always met at the river when fetching water. Both came from rich
families — their families were the heads of their villages. The two villages
were friendly with each other, so Iravati and Kanhaiya knew each other well.
Iravati had two sisters, Inaya (22
years old) and Veena (26 years old), and a dead brother, Ramsey, who was
Veena’s twin. Her father’s name was Charanpal (50 years old), and her late
mother’s name was Vidhya.
One day, Iravati came to the river
for fresh air, not realizing it was a full moon night. She stood gazing at the
moon and enjoying the view. Suddenly, she sensed someone behind her. She turned
and saw a newly turned werewolf (a decuolf), not in control of himself. He ran
toward her. She panicked and ran into the woods. In the moon’s bright light,
she could see him chasing, but before she could escape, he leapt and tried to
bite her neck.
In that moment, Iravati transformed
into her vampire form — her teeth grew sharp, her eyes turned black. But as the
werewolf lunged, their eyes locked. For a few seconds, they both froze… and
miraculously turned back into their human forms.
Kanhaiya was stunned. How could
I return to normal on a full moon night? he thought. And this is my
first transformation as a werewolf.
Iravati touched his face and
smiled.
“Kanhaiya… it was you? I thought it was someone else from your village. You
look so handsome in the moonlight. Congratulations on your first
transformation.”
“Yes,” he said, still shocked. “I
am the last in my family to turn into a werewolf. And I feel… happy.”
She kissed him on the lips.
“I love you.”
He kissed her back.
“I love you too.”
They had secretly been in love for
two years. Suddenly, they heard footsteps crunching over dry leaves. Fear
struck them. If anyone from their villages saw them, they would be killed.
Though the villages were friendly, love or marriage between them was forbidden
— it was considered a sin.
They asked, “Who’s there, behind
the black tree?”
Out came a cloaked figure. An old
woman, about 60, looking strange.
Iravati gasped. “You are Mrs.
Indira, the witch, right?”
The woman grinned. “Yes, my dear. I
am Indira.”
Kanhaiya asked, “Iravati, you know
her?”
“Yes,” Iravati replied. “My
grandmother told me stories about this witch who lives in these woods. I
thought you were dead!”
Indira cackled with a mad laugh,
making them tremble.
“Only vampires are truly immortal, but some witches, wolves, and other
creatures can live forever — with sacrifices, power, and love.” She laughed
again, crazily.
Kanhaiya, uneasy, whispered,
“Iravati, let’s go. Our families may be searching for us.”
They turned to leave, but Indira
called out:
“You two are in love… and want to marry, don’t you?”
They froze. Iravati asked, “How do
you know?”
Indira smirked. “Two teenagers, in
the woods, at night… you’re not here farming. It’s obvious.”
She added, “I can help you get
married.”
Iravati’s eyes lit up. “How?”
But Kanhaiya frowned. “You wouldn’t
do this for free. What do you want from us?”
Indira laughed like a madwoman
again. “Smart boy. Yes, I will need something — not now, but one day. When I
ask, you must give it.”
Kanhaiya was suspicious, but stayed
quiet. Iravati eagerly asked again, “So, how will you help us?”
Indira said, “Meet me at this same
spot tomorrow night, with all your belongings.”
They agreed and left. Indira stared
at them, then transformed into a raven and flew away.
The next day…
At Kanhaiya’s home, he was packing.
His mother asked, “Son, where are you going?”
He replied, “I’m going on a trip to
Shimla. I’ll be back before the next full moon.”
“Okay, be careful,” she said.
“Who’s going with you?”
“No one, Mom. I’m going alone. None
of my friends know about this trip.” He smiled.
Meanwhile, at Iravati’s home, she
was packing too. Her father asked, “Your sisters told me you’re going to Pune
to meet your friend Alia. When are you leaving?”
“Tonight, Father. Around 10 p.m.”
He hugged her. “My sweet girl, go
safe. Be careful. But tell me honestly — are you in love with Kanhaiya?”
She froze, shocked. He looked at
her with sadness but also understanding.
“I know you love him. You always meet him after sunset. And now, you’re leaving
with him to start a new life. I know because last night, while you were asleep,
you were murmuring his name.”
She stayed silent. He handed her a
ring.
“This will protect you from death by the white Chinar tree. Vampires are
immortal, but this tree can kill us. Few survive it — only after unbearable
pain. Wear it once you leave the village.”
Then he gave her food.
“What is this, Father?”
“A ritual meal. Whenever we sin, we
eat it to purify ourselves forever. Eat it.”
Though she didn’t believe in such
rituals, she ate. The food was hard and strange.
“This will take time to digest. You may feel heavy for a while,” her father
said.
She took his blessings, prayed at
her mother’s and brother’s portraits, and left.
That night, around 10 p.m., Iravati
and Kanhaiya met with their belongings. They waited an hour. Iravati told him
about her father’s strange behaviour and the ritual food.
A raven landed, transforming into
Indira.
Kanhaiya was amazed. “Wow, you can
do that too?”
Indira laughed. “I can do many
things. Are you ready to leave and start a peaceful life?”
They both nodded. Suddenly, Iravati
began coughing blood. She collapsed, bleeding from nose, ears, and eyes.
Kanhaiya panicked. “What’s
happening?!”
Indira examined her. “She’s
poisoned… with white Chinar tree.”
Iravati gasped, “Father… gave me
food… said ritual…”
She vomited something white.
Kanhaiya asked, horrified, “What is
this?”
Indira explained, “The white Chinar
tree. It kills pure-blood vampires. And the ring you wear turned your cold
blood hot, spreading the poison faster.”
Kanhaiya begged, “Can you save
her?”
Indira shook her head. “No. She
will die.”
Kanhaiya held Iravati’s hand,
crying. “We were going to start a new life. But your father… I will kill him.
I’ll kill every one of your family!”
Raging, he transformed into a
werewolf. Indira handed him three white Chinar knives.
“Use these. As a new werewolf, you can’t easily kill old vampires.”
He stormed Iravati’s village,
carrying her body. When Charanpal opened the door, Kanhaiya snarled, “Don’t act
innocent, sinner. You killed your daughter!”
Charanpal was shocked and wept.
Veena came out smiling.
“Yes, I did it,” she confessed. “We
don’t allow tainted blood in our line. I also killed my mother and twin
brother. My mother supported him when he fell in love with an outsider. I
blamed her family and had the whole village slaughter them. And now I’ll blame you
for all this.”
She rang a bell — only vampires
could hear. They rushed to the house. Veena cried, “This werewolf killed my
family because they refused to give him my sister!”
The vampires beat Kanhaiya
mercilessly. Bleeding, he lay on the floor. Veena lifted him by the throat.
“Your people will die too. Goodbye, dog.”
But Indira appeared. Distracted,
Veena turned — and Kanhaiya stabbed her with a Chinar knife.
He collapsed. “Indira… help my
people. The vampires will kill them all.”
Indira sighed. “Too late. Both
villages fought with Chinar weapons. Everyone is dead. I warned your people. If
They have believed me. The war would have ended in minutes.”
Kanhaiya wept. “All this death… for
love.”
Indira said, “Not all. Inaya is
still alive.”
But when Kanhaiya searched, Inaya
had escaped through the window.
“I will find her,” he swore.
Gowtham said, “Years
passed. Kanhaiya became a powerful don and businessman. But he never found
Inaya. He made his son swear that their bloodline must hunt her family forever.
Three hundred years passed, and still they never found her.”
“Revand, the CEO of ASH
Corp, is from Kanhaiya’s family.”
Sandeep asked, “How do you
know this story?”
Gowtham replied, “One of
my friends is a werewolf from that village. His great-grandfather was
Kanhaiya’s friend. He left the village two days before the massacre. When he
returned, he found only bodies. At Kanhaiya’s home, he found a letter —
Kanhaiya’s written confession.”
Sandeep asked, “So who’s
the girl in the picture?”
Gowtham said, “It’s
Twinkle, my old classmate. I met her last night. This morning, she went to
Mumbai with Giri for Shivani’s marriage.”
Sandeep asked, “Does he
have powers like us?”
Gowtham replied, “No. Even
though I bit him a year ago, Riya helped tame the curse. But I’m still doubtful
— so last night, I gave him an anti-werewolf ring.”
Sandeep said, “Don’t
worry. If he hasn’t turned yet, he never will.”
Just then, Sandeep’s phone
rang. It was Hale, their Alpha.
Meanwhile, Gowtham told
the others, “Bury these bodies. It’s almost 6 p.m. and a full moon night. We
must return before dark. I’ll call Shivani about Twinkle being used as bait.”
He called Shivani. She
answered, worried.
“I prayed this wouldn’t happen. Okay, I’ll inform her family.”
He cut the call.
5.
Woken Wereape.
Giri woke up from a long nap and saw Twinkle. She was listening to music
and driving the car.
“Oops, sorry,” Giri said. “I slept for too long.”
“It’s okay,” Twinkle replied. “Good evening.”
Giri asked, “Where are we now?”
She glanced at the meter. “There are 650 kilometres left.”
“So we’ll only reach in the morning?”
“Yes,” she said. “It’s 6 p.m. now. Let’s stop for tea or coffee. You can
rest a bit, and I’ll take a nap.” She spotted a café and parked nearby.
Just then, Twinkle’s phone rang. It was Shivani. But when she picked up,
the phone switched off—low battery.
“Shit!” she muttered.
“What happened?” Giri asked.
“My phone died.”
He handed her his phone. “Here. Call from mine.” He also gave her one
AirPod.
She asked, “Where’s the other one? Did it fall in the car?”
“Maybe,” he said. “I’ll get coffee. You call her.” He locked the door
and walked inside.
Inside the car, Twinkle called Shivani.
“Why did you call me? My phone battery died,” Twinkle asked.
“Is Giri with you?” Shivani replied.
“No. He’s in the café.”
“Okay, listen carefully. They found you. They’re searching right now.”
Twinkle’s eyes widened. “Revand found me? And the others?”
“I don’t know about the others,” Shivani whispered, “but he’s looking
for you. If his team and pack see you, they’ll capture you. Use the other
way—the forest route.”
“Okay,” Twinkle said, hanging up. Her face tightened with fear.
When Giri came back with coffee, he noticed. “Why do you look tense?”
She didn’t answer. Her mind was racing. Giri shook her shoulders gently,
and she blinked back to herself. She took the coffee, sipped, and muttered, “My
uncle is very serious. We need to get there as fast as possible.”
Giri held her left hand. “Look into my eyes.” She did. His voice was
calm but firm. “Nothing will happen to you or your uncle. We’ll reach safely.”
Her fear softened. She nodded. “I know a short route, but it’s through
the forest.”
“I love forests,” Giri grinned. “Hit the accelerator.”
Flashback.
While buying coffee, Giri had kept the other AirPod in his ear. He overheard
fragments of Twinkle’s conversation: “…if his team and pack see you, they
will capture you. Use the other way—the forest route.” Suspicion grew in
him, but he smiled and returned with coffee.
The forest route.
Twinkle was driving fast, almost furiously. Giri said, “Slow down! We might hit
an animal.”
She raised an eyebrow. “Don’t worry. I’m a born racer.”
He chuckled. “Alright, racer girl.”
She smirked. “Okay, laugh, Full Moon.”
He was listening to music on Jostify when he noticed in the side
mirror—a bright light approaching. Four dirt bikes. Eight riders. All in black
jackets, gloves, and helmets.
“They’re trying to block us,” Giri warned.
Twinkle’s grip tightened. “Maybe enemies of my family business.”
“Then drive faster.”
One biker overtook them, sped ahead, and suddenly U-turned, pulling a
back-wheel stunt. Another rider leapt from the backseat of a bike and landed on
their car’s hood.
“Who the hell are you?” Giri shouted. “Get off! This car’s more
expensive than me!”
The man smirked. “You both are going to die.” He began punching the
windshield.
“It’s reinforced glass,” Giri laughed. But Twinkle’s eyes widened. “No,
it can break.”
Sure enough, after five hard punches, cracks spread. Twinkle slammed the
brakes.
“Stop!” she screamed. “You need me, right? Take me. Leave him.”
The bikes circled the car. It was 7:15 p.m.
The riders removed their helmets—two girls and six boys.
“Oh wow,” Giri muttered. “Lady thugs too. Impressive.”
Twinkle whispered, “Giri, whatever happens—don’t come out.”
“Okay,” he said quietly.
She stepped out. They surrounded her.
One sneered. “We came to kill you. Then your grandmother will be forced
to meet our boss.”
“After killing me,” Twinkle smiled coldly, “tell him—even in his dreams,
he will not succeed. You will never find my great grandmother.”
A girl swung a iron rod at her—but Twinkle kicked her across the
clearing, straight into a tree. She slumped unconscious. Everyone froze. Even
the second girl rushed to check.
Giri’s eyes locked on the tree—it was blackened. Something about it
sparked buried memories.
“Stay back!” Twinkle warned. “Or you’ll end up like her.”
A man hurled a bottle it was full of garlic juice. It shattered on her
head. Water splashed across her skin.
Twinkle screamed. Her skin burned, bleeding. She dropped to her knees.
Another pulled a sword. He raised it over her head—
—but Giri tackled him, driving the blade into his chest.
Twinkle gasped. “What have you done?”
The man, dying, smirked. “Why help her, human? She is a vampire.”
“What?” Giri froze. “Vampires don’t exist.”
But Twinkle was already healing. Wounds closing. Skin repairing.
“How—?” Giri whispered.
Another boy pointed at Giri’s hand. “That ring. You are a werewolf? Are
you one of us”
“I’m not!” Giri said.
“That ring controls werewolf powers. It works only before
transformation. Once you turn, it is useless.”
Twinkle was still weak.
One girl rushed at her, trying to cuff her wrists with cuffs. The others
struggled to pull Giri’s ring free.
“Why are you struggling?” Giri smirked. “Here—I’ll make it easy.” He
slipped it off and handed it over.
The man’s eyes widened. “Now this human will transform on the full moon.
Tie him with steel chains to that tree.”
Giri scoffed. “Idiots. If the ring was stopping me, why ask me to remove
it?”
“You’re right,” the man said darkly. “But we want to watch you turn—and
kill yourself.”
Four men knocked him down and chained him to the black tree. Twinkle was
cuffed and shoved into a jeep.
But moments later, the driver screamed: “Where is he?”
The chains hung loose. Giri was gone.
The girl near Twinkle looked up—something moved in the branches.
Suddenly she was yanked upward. A shadow ripped her apart, hurling bloody
halves to the ground.
The others froze.
six were left. They howled, transforming. They are transformed into
werewolves, All were looking up into the trees. Something was jumping from
branch to branch, but they couldn’t see it. They all started to climb up the
trees, and the girl who had gone unconscious came back to her senses. She
grabbed the sword, walked to the jeep, and tried to kill Twinkle.
When she raised the sword and was about to strike, she heard someone
standing behind her. She turned around — it was Giri. He had transformed into
an ape-like form, half-human, half-ape. He was a little muscular, with a tail.
His shirt and pants were torn, his body was hairy, and his eyes glowed bluish.
He smiled at the girl, then wrapped his hands around her throat. She
tried to transform into a werewolf, but before she could, Giri slit her throat.
The other werewolves heard her death and quickly came back down from the
trees. Giri walked over to Twinkle and ripped the cuffs off her. Twinkle was
almost fully recovered. She touched Giri’s face and said:
“You are not a werewolf. You are the rare chosen one… you are a Wereape,
or Weremonkey.”
But Giri said nothing.
One werewolf shouted, “Wereape is a myth!”
Another replied, “No, it’s not a myth. Because you’re looking right at it!”
Twinkle moved towards her car. From the back seat, she pulled out a
shotgun. She walked near Giri and said, “Let’s hunt.” She also transformed into
a vampire.
She faced the werewolves and said, “Fight or run, your choice — because
this gun is loaded with silver bullets.”
The werewolves growled, “We’re here to capture you, not to run away.”
Giri growled back like a monkey, and the fight began. Twinkle shot four
werewolves straight in the heart, killing them instantly. Meanwhile, Giri
fought two others in hand-to-hand combat. He knocked one out cold with a
powerful punch to the head. The last werewolf tried to attack him from behind,
but Twinkle shot it down.
Now all the werewolves were dead.
Twinkle smirked. “Idiots. this wolf pack just died for nothing.”
She walked to Giri again and touched him. He fainted instantly, turning
back into his normal human form. Twinkle carried him to the car, placed him in
the front seat, some parts of his jacket, pants were torn and searched for the
ring — but she could not find it anywhere near the car.
She got back into the car and took her phone called Shivani. She
explained everything that had happened.
“I can’t believe this,” Shivani said.
“Don’t worry,” shivani replied. “Our dump-and-clean team will arrive
soon and clear the bodies. Anyway, this is deep forest — humans are prohibited
here.”
Shivani warned her, “Go home now. Be safe. Make sure your
great-grandmother and family know about this and tell them about this incident,
warn your great -grandmother. And when Giri wakes up… try to talk to him about
this.”
“Okay,” Twinkle said and hung up the call.
She started the car and drove away, heading back home.
6. LOVE, CARE AND ENMITY
Giri was still unconscious, completely drained of energy from the fight.
Twinkle’s eyes filled with tears as she looked at him and thought to herself:
“Giri… I’ve been searching for you from the day I left the country. I
really missed you, Shivani, and the school. Because of the vampire pure
bloodline, I was forced to move to North India… and another reason was Revand.
That accident was real—I lost every single memory of you when I was thirteen.
But when I turned eighteen and awakened my vampire abilities, my memories came
back. I remembered you. I’m sorry… I shouldn’t have played with your heart. I
asked Shivani to join me in that drama, just so I could spend one whole journey
with you, and to know how much you truly loved me.”
She was saying all this in her mind, imagining the confession while
driving the car.
Twinkle glanced at Giri again and whispered, “But Giri… who are you
now? You have turned into a Wereape—how? I thought you were just human. Does
your family belong to a Wereape bloodline? Or… am I still confused about all
this?”
In his half-conscious state, Giri muttered, “I’m confused too… how do
you people even exist in this world with such supernatural powers…?” He
slowly opened his eyes, then suddenly screamed at Twinkle. Shocked, she slammed
the brakes and pulled the car to the roadside.
Giri jumped out of the car and ran away from her. But Twinkle quickly
drove ahead, stopped in front of him, and blocked his path. “Giri, please… get
in the car! You might get killed anytime out here. Please… trust me and look
your dress are torn.”
Giri looked into her eyes—glittering with love—and after a moment, he
opened the door and sat back inside.
Frustrated, he demanded, “What the hell is happening? What are you?
And what happened to me?”
Twinkle took a deep breath and explained everything—about herself,
Shivani, Gowtham, and the whole story of Revand.
“So… you’re a superhero?” Giri asked.
She shook her head. “No. We’re not superheroes. We’re superbeings—with
supernatural powers. And that includes you too.”
“Me? How?” Giri frowned.
“I don’t know,” Twinkle replied softly. “Maybe Gowtham’s werewolf bite
triggered the Wereape power hidden in your genes.”
Giri asked you just guessing? she said yes but if we go to my home , my
grandmother might know about you and the power of you,, she is full aware of
this she has 400+ years of memory.
Giri frowned. “So, you’re just guessing?”
Twinkle nodded. “Yes. But if we go to my home, my grandmother might
know more about you—and the power inside you. She’s fully aware of such things.
She carries over four hundred years of memory.”
Giri’s eyes widened in shock. “Wait… what? She is four hundred years
old? How is she still alive?”
Twinkle calmly replied, “She is four hundred and fifteen. We are
vampires, Giri. We do not die like humans. Only Chinar wood can kill us. We
will always look like eighteen, but with magic we can alter our appearance—make
ourselves look older every five years, or even every hundred years if we want.”
Still stunned, Giri asked, “How is that possible?”
Twinkle smiled faintly. “Come with me to my home. You’ll witness it
with your own eyes.”
“Alright,” Giri said slowly, then raised a brow. “So… your
grandfather isn’t sick in bed?”
She chuckled, “That was a lie, just to make you come with me. But one
part is true—you know Shivani’s marriage is happening in my house next week.
That much I didn’t make up.” She winked playfully.
Giri leaned back. “So, when will we reach your home?”
Twinkle glanced at the horizon. “It is already 3 a.m. We will get
there by 9 am. You should sleep—I will wake you once we arrive but before that
change your dress its torn.”
Trusting her, Giri closed his eyes and drifted into sleep, while Twinkle
drove steadily towards her ancestral home.
Meanwhile, deep in the forest, the damage-control squad—five members led
by Shivani and Gowtham’s unit—arrived at the scene. They looked around in
silence.
The old man leading the team finally spoke, his voice heavy. “This
place… it looks like a massacre. A killing spree. Come on, boys—clean this up
before humans show up. By morning, this area will be crawling with them.”
All five members began their work quickly, erasing traces of the
supernatural carnage. But one tall member quietly pressed a button on his
uniform—the hidden camera on his chest blinked red, transmitting everything to
someone far away.
Mumbai.
In the heart of the city stood a dark, high-tech tower. Its name glowed
in crimson letters: “R.” R stood for Revand and it is the main building of
ASH corp.
Inside, at the very top—the 30th floor—a lone figure sat in the shadows,
watching a live feed of the forest massacre. On the giant screen, the camera’s
perspective revealed broken trees, scorched ground, and traces of blood.
The man wore a black robe, sipping water slowly. From behind him, a
sleek table buzzed—the phone was ringing. He turned, his sharp features coming
into view. This was Revand, the great-grandson of Kanhaiya… and he looked
almost identical to his ancestor.
He picked up the phone, fury already in his voice. “Indhu! Do you
know what happened? My team has been torn apart like pieces of chicken! How did
this happen? Who killed them? And —last night were supposed to be Twinkle’s
last night! Her face… it’s the same as hers. If she had died, my grandfather’s
dream would have come true. I would have had my chance to hunt Inaya, slaughter
her family, and finally bring his wish to its bloody ending!”
On the other side, Indhu’s calm voice answered, “Don’t worry, Revand.
We finally found them after so many years. Now we have both magic and
technology on our side. They are here, in Mumbai… close. We also know that
Twinkle’s friend’s wedding is in two days. Tomorrow night is the haldi
ceremony. That is when we will strike. Our team will invade, and we will also
discover what that new creature is. We already know—it is a Wereape. Tomorrow,
we will learn how to kill it… or make it our slave.”
Her voice turned sharper. “Remember, Revand—this started with your
great-grandfather and my great-grandmother, Indira. This war is in our blood.
We are the same. And together—we will succeed.”
Revand growled low into the receiver, eyes burning. “I’m waiting for
the climax of this story… the fall of the Original Vampire family.” And cut
the call..
6 a.m.
Gowtham was packing his things into a bag when he pulled out his phone
and dialed Riya.
On the other side, Riya answered groggily, “Why, Gowtham? Why are you
calling me so early? I haven’t even woken up properly… I’m still in bed.”
Gowtham shouted, “Riya, wake up! This is serious!”
Half-asleep, she mumbled, “Serious? What series? Where should I watch
it? What is the name of the show?”
Gowtham growled, “Riya, you Webflix addict! I said serious, not
series!”
Riya yawned. “Ohh, serious… okay. So, what happened now?”
Gowtham’s voice tightened. “Whatever we thought about Giri—we were
wrong.”
She sat up a little. “Wrong? What do you mean? Did he go crazy or
something?”
“No,” Gowtham said grimly. “He turned into a Wereape.”
The moment she heard that word, Riya’s drowsiness vanished. She sat bolt
upright. “Wait—what? What did you just say?”
“You heard me,” Gowtham replied. “Giri turned into a Wereape. He
killed around six werewolves last night. My friend Shivani told me it, Twinkle
witnessed it, and even my damage-control team confirmed the scene.”
He continued, “Check your Thumb app—I sent you the pictures.”
Riya quickly opened the app, scrolling through the images. Her eyes
widened. “This place looks like a bloody massacre! Gowtham… there hasn’t
been a Wereape on our planet for over a thousand years. My family told me
this.”
“I don’t know, and I don’t care about ancient history,” Gowtham snapped.
“All I care about is my friend—Giri.”
Riya exhaled sharply. “Okay. I’ll look into this and reach you.”
“No,” Gowtham interrupted. “We are leaving for Mumbai today. You’re
coming with me. Pack your things—clothes, your magic book, everything you know
about Wereapes. Bring it all. We will fly. And listen—please fly this time.
Don’t teleport through trees and drain your energy.”
She muttered, “I’m still a newbie at magic—that’s why I lose energy
when I teleport.”
Gowtham smirked. “I know. Just be ready. Bye.”
He slipped the phone back into his pocket.
7. INTO THE VAMPIRE FAMILY
9 a.m. – The Same Day
Twinkle’s car rolled to a stop before a massive iron gate, towering high
and grand. She glanced at Giri, still sleeping peacefully in the passenger
seat, and whispered to herself with a smile, “Finally… he’s entering my
family—not just as a guest, but as my future son-in-law.”
Leaning over, she gently shook him. “Hey, Giri… wake up. We’ve
reached home.”
Giri stirred, yawning as he rubbed his eyes. “Good… finally.” He
blinked and looked outside, his gaze widening as the enormous gate opened to
reveal a breathtaking palace. Its white walls glowed in the morning sunlight
like marble touched by the heavens.
Staring in awe, he asked, “Twinkle… are you a princess? Is your
family descended from royalty? But… you once told me your ancestors were poor
and from Kashmir.”
Twinkle laughed softly. “My great-grandmother was poor, yes. But fate
brought her here—she met a man, the king of this very palace. He fell in love
with her… and married her.”
“Oh,” Giri said slowly. “So, you’re talking about your
great-grandfather?”
She nodded, smiling proudly. “Yes.”
Giri opened his mouth to ask more, but Twinkle gently cut him off. “No
more questions now. Come inside first. This palace… it’s also where Shivani’s
wedding will happen. Look, the decorations have already started.”
Giri’s eyes sparkled with curiosity. “Okay… I can’t wait to meet your
family.”
Twinkle drove the car through the palace compound. Giri’s jaw dropped as
his eyes widened—there were more than thirty cars parked neatly in rows. But
one caught his attention.
His eyes locked on an old olive-green Tancer car, a 2000 model. The
moment he saw it, memories struck. “Twinkle… isn’t this the same car your
father used to drive? The one he dropped you off at school in?”
Twinkle’s lips curved into a fond smile. “Yes, Giri. This is the car.
You remember everything about me… even the little things, like what I used. But
now, it’s just a memory. The car still works, but it’s no longer in use. I
think before the wedding function starts, they’ll move it to the shed. After
all, this is a royal family celebration. Only royal cars are allowed here.”
Giri chuckled softly, still staring at the old car, nostalgia tugging at
him.
Twinkle parked near a closed shed and pointed. “This is my shed. It’s
locked now, but later I’ll show you what’s inside.”
“Alright,” Giri nodded. They both got down, took their bags, and headed
towards the palace.
Twinkle spread her arms wide, smiling. “Welcome, Giri, to my house.”
He smirked, looking up at the majestic white palace gleaming before him.
“All this time, you called a palace… a house? For you, home is a palace,
huh?”
She laughed softly, brushing his arm. “Maybe.”
As they stepped inside, Giri’s breath caught. The main hall was
massive—every corner shone like it was carved from diamonds. Chandeliers
sparkled overhead, golden pillars stood tall, and the marble floor gleamed like
water under sunlight. Dozens of people moved about—some cleaning the hall, some
arranging decorations, others serving water and juices to the guests. At least
thirty people filled the space, each busy with purpose.
Twinkle dropped her bags and suddenly ran forward, her face lighting up.
She threw her arms around a beautiful young woman. “Mother!” she cried
with joy.
Giri froze. “Mother…? What—?” Then it struck him. Of course. They
were vampires. They didn’t age.
Twinkle returned, walking proudly with her mother, who looked no older
than thirty. Alongside her came a man with sharp, dignified features—her
father.
She said, “Mom and Dad, meet my old new friend,” then smiled and added,
“my favourite person, Giri.”
When she said this, Giri started to blush but managed a polite Vanakkam
to her parents. They greeted him warmly.
Her father paused, thinking for a moment, then asked Twinkle,
“Hey, is this the guy from your school? Yeah… now I remember. You were the boy who
was always looking at my daughter. I also saw you… It was on the school's
annual day. I even met you and your family at the Poorna restaurant. You, young
boy, you still have the same old shyness whenever you see my daughter.”
Giri smiled and replied,
“Sir, you also remember that? And you look the same as the day I first saw you.
So, you are a vampire like her… and like her mother, too. All of you are
wearing daylight rings. By the way, I am Giri, sir.”
Everyone was shocked at his words. Twinkle said,
“Giri, I didn’t tell you anything about the rings!”
Giri explained calmly,
“It was just a guess. From Shivani’s bachelorette party onwards, I kept
noticing it. She wore the same ring, and you and your mom and dad, too. I
figured it must be something special. The design didn’t look like an ordinary
royal ring either. So… it was a clean guess.”
Her father smiled.
“You are brilliant. But tell me, son… what are you?”
Giri scratched his head.
“I don’t know. She says I’m a Wereape… or Weremonkey. But honestly, I don’t
know anything yet. Because only last night I came to know about vampires,
werewolves, and their sub-breeds, witches, and magic.”
Twinkle’s mother said kindly,
“Son, you have much to learn about us… and about supernatural beings. First, go
freshen up. Then come, let’s have breakfast. You must also meet my mother—your
granny.”
Giri nodded.
“Okay.”
Her father added,
“Son, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Vinay, and this is my beautiful
wife, Shilpa. Together, we are the parents of this beautiful girl, Twinkle.”
In Giri’s mind, he thought: This family talks a lot… but he’s right.
She really is beautiful.
Shilpa smiled.
“Twinkle, go show Giri his room.”
“Okay, Mom,” Twinkle said. “I’ll make him stay in the room next to
mine.”
Vinay chuckled.
“Your choice, dear. Oh, and one thing—the marriage has been postponed for a
week.”
“Why, Dad?” Twinkle asked.
Shilpa replied,
“It’s a family matter.”
“Okay, Mum,” Twinkle said. “I’ll show Giri his room. Later, I want to
talk to you and Granny about something important. I’ll meet you both in her
room.”
Twinkle turned to Giri.
“Come on, I’ll show you your room.”
“So, I have to stay here for a week?” Giri asked.
“You can stay here forever,” Twinkle teased, laughing.
“So… Shivani is not only your friend?” Giri asked.
“Yes,” Twinkle said, “she’s my cousin, and half-related to my original
family.”
“Okay…” Giri nodded.
There was even a lift in the palace. Both stepped inside. Twinkle
pressed the 3rd floor. Inside the lift, they were looking at each other. A
slight romantic moment was about to happen—
But the lift opened. A girl was standing there.
“Are you both trying to romance?” she teased.
“Oh God…” Giri muttered.
Twinkle turned, surprised. She ran to the girl, shouting,
“Trisha!” and hugged her tightly.
“When did you come from Kolkata?” Twinkle asked.
Trisha replied,
“Arey, I came last night. And I was feeling so bored till now.”
Giri just stood there, watching them.
Trisha turned to Twinkle.
“Is this the guy you were talking about all these years?”
“Yes,” Twinkle smiled, “he’s the guy.”
Trisha walked up to Giri, shook his hand, and said,
“I’m Trisha.”
“I’m Giri,” he replied.
“You must be lucky to have her,” Trisha teased.
“No, Trisha,” Twinkle cut in, “I must be lucky.”
Giri blushed.
“Bro, don’t blush!” Trisha laughed, then leaned near Twinkle and
whispered,
“Does he know about us?”
“Yes,” Twinkle replied. “He is one of our kind.”
Trisha smirked.
“So, Giri… she says you are one of us. Tell me, what’s your favourite blood
group? Mine is A+.”
“Sorry,” Giri said awkwardly, “I don’t drink blood.”
Twinkle quickly added,
“He’s a supernatural being… but different.”
“Fine,” Trisha shrugged. “Now go and organise everyone in Granny’s room.
We have to talk.”
Before leaving, she leaned close to Giri and whispered,
“You are A positive. I can smell it. Be aware—I might bite you and drink a sip
of your blood.”
Then she winked, stepped back into the lift, and went down.
“This girl is crazy…” Giri muttered. “Will she really drink my blood?”
Twinkle laughed.
“No, she’s just playing with you.”
“Okay then, come on. Let me show you your room,” she said.
She pointed to the doors.
“This pink one is my room. The blue one is yours. And the red one nearby is
Shivani’s room. They’ll reach here tonight by 10 pm. Everyone is coming.”
She opened the blue door.
“Giri, take a bath and rest. I’ll come and call you in an hour.”
Giri stepped inside the room with a sigh of relief. It was rich and
spacious, with a king-size bed, a small couch, a 45-inch TV, a fridge, and a
bathroom.
He muttered to himself,
“I’ve never been in a palace or a luxury hotel like this before… and for free.”
Giri went to the bathroom, freshened up, and changed into a hoodie and
cargo boxers. He lay down on the bed, closed his eyes, and sank into the soft
silence of the room.
Meanwhile, Twinkle had also freshened up. Wearing a simple yet elegant
kurti, she made her way to her grandmother’s room, where her entire family was
already gathered.
Her grandmother, Inaya, sat gracefully on her chair, radiating wisdom
and authority. She looked strikingly similar to Twinkle—the same facial
features, the same aura—except her hair was curly, with streaks of white, and
her piercing eyes glowed a mystical green.
“My dear sweetheart,” Inaya asked gently, “what happened? Why did you
want to meet me as soon as you arrived? And why gather the whole family here?”
Twinkle’s face turned somber, her eyes a mix of sadness and fear.
“Revand found us,” she whispered. “He tried to attack me with his werewolf
goons. If Giri hadn’t been there last night, I would’ve been killed.”
Gasps filled the room.
Vinay, wide-eyed with shock, exclaimed, “Dear, why didn’t you tell us
last night? We would’ve sent our own men to protect you and brought you here
safely by helicopter!”
Shilpa stepped forward, her tone grave. “Daughter… what is going on?”
Inaya’s eyes hardened, her voice low but commanding. “This only confirms
what I feared. A war is coming—between us and Kanniah’s great-grandson. He
looks exactly like his ancestor, carries the same vengeance in his heart, and
he is not alone. With him stands the witch—Kanniah’s
great-granddaughter—steeped in black magic and even more dangerous. Together,
they are a threat not just to us, but to the entire city.”
Her voice deepened with fury. “He has already seized control of the
northern slums. He trains humans to hunt vampires and other supernatural
beings. He poisons the land with factories, ruins villages, and spreads his
power like a plague. That is why South India refuses to unite with the North.
Only money binds them together—money and trade. People may cross borders
freely, but unity is impossible when he spreads corruption.”
Then, softening, she looked back at Twinkle. “Do not worry, my child. We
will win against him. I will not let you die because of me. I will protect
you.” She paused, her gaze thoughtful. “And I should thank that boy—Giri.”
Twinkle’s lips curved into a faint smile. “Granny, that is exactly why I
wanted to talk about him. He is not a boy. I love him… and he will be a part of
this family.”
Inaya’s stern face brightened with delight. “Oh, how sweet! I would love
to meet him. Tell me, do you want to marry him now? Or has he not yet accepted
your love?”
Before Twinkle could respond, Trisha interrupted with a mischievous
grin.
“Granny, they are in love. You know, they were about to kiss in the lift—until
I ruined the moment!” She burst into laughter.
The room broke into smiles, the tension easing for a fleeting moment.
Twinkle lowered her gaze. “No… we haven’t confessed our love to each
other yet. And that’s not even what I came here to talk about.” Her voice
trembled, but her eyes were firm. “I want to talk about his supernatural
ability.”
The room went silent. Inaya leaned forward, her green eyes sharp and
alert.
“What is he, then? A werewolf? A shapeshifter? Something else? My child, you
know our family accepts love no matter what form it comes in…”
Twinkle’s patience snapped. “Please! I don’t know why everyone in this
family talks so much. Giri… he is a Wereape.”
The air turned heavy. Gasps rippled across the room.
“He doesn’t even know it himself,” Twinkle continued, her voice softer
now. “Until last night, he had no idea about the supernatural world at all.”
Inaya’s expression darkened with disbelief. “A Wereape? My dear, that
cannot be. For a thousand years, no one has seen such a being. Even as a child,
I only heard my father speak of them. Legends—nothing more. A myth long
buried.” She leaned forward, her voice dropping to a whisper. “And you are
saying you saw him?”
Twinkle nodded. “Yes, grandmother. I saw him. He transformed before my
very eyes.”
Inaya’s gaze sharpened. “Was he conscious when he turned?”
“No,” Twinkle admitted. Her voice quivered, remembering the sight. “He
was full of rage. I’ve never seen anyone so violent, so consumed. But…” Her
lips curved faintly. “When he looked into my eyes, he calmed. As if all that
fury dissolved in a heartbeat.”
Before the silence could settle, Trisha smirked and broke it with her
mischief.
“He’s Bruce Banner,” she teased. “And you’re Natasha. Beauty calming the
beast.” She burst into laughter.
Even Twinkle could not help but smile at the absurdity, shaking her
head.
But Inaya’s expression was grave. “It is not a joke, child. That is
love. And love is powerful. If he truly is a Wereape, then he must be trained to
control his form, to remain conscious when he turns. Otherwise, he will destroy
not only himself but everything around him.”
Her green eyes glowed as she raised her hand for silence. “Now, Twinkle,
go. Call Giri. Bring him to me. The rest of you—leave us. I will speak with him
alone.”
Trisha giggled. “Hero, sir, Granny is calling you now. Go to the first
floor. There’s a white door in that room. Granny will be waiting.”
Giri raised an eyebrow. “Where’s Twinkle?”
Trisha tilted her head innocently. “Have you seen Granny?”
Giri shook his head.
“Well then,” Trisha said casually, “she’s in the granny’s room. But
Twinkle… she went to the dining hall for breakfast.”
What Giri didn’t know was that Twinkle and Inaya were near-perfect
doppelgängers—so alike, it was almost uncanny.
With a reluctant sigh, Giri got up, walked down the hall, and entered
the white-door room. Inaya stood before an ornate mirror, carefully grooming
herself. Her green eyes glimmered with wisdom as her curly white-streaked hair
framed her face.
Giri approached her from behind, gently touched her shoulder, and asked,
“Why, Twinkle… why are you in a saree? Why the hairstyle change? And… your eye
color—green now? Why?”
Inaya turned calmly, a smile playing on her lips.
“It’s because I am not Twinkle,” she said. “I am Inaya—the great-grandmother of
your beloved Twinkle.”
Giri froze, shock spreading across his face. His voice trembled,
“S-Sorry…”
Inaya chuckled softly. “It’s alright, child. We look like twins, but we
are not. I must admit… people should fall for me,” she added playfully,
flashing a sly smile.
Giri smiled back, trying to recover his composure. “I agree, madam.”
She laughed and said, “Call me Grandmother.”
“Okay, Grandmother,” Giri replied, nodding respectfully.
Inaya’s expression softened, her voice tinged with sadness.
“The reason I called you is… to thank you. Thank you for saving my
granddaughter. Her face has been clouded with worry ever since.”
Giri responded humbly, “I only did what I had to do. You know, Granny…
when I fought them, I wasn’t myself. I was a Wereape.”
“I know, child,” Inaya said softly. “But it was you. And I do not
know how to train or control this Wereape power either. I’m sorry. But we will
figure it out… I promise. Soon, when Shivani and her friends arrive, we’ll find
a way to help you gain control.”
Giri looked down for a moment, then lifted his head confidently. “I’m
still confused, Granny, but I know you’ll find the way. I believe in you all.”
Inaya smiled warmly. “You’re right. Now, go… have your breakfast. You
must be hungry. Twinkle will be waiting for you. One thing—please don’t leave
her.”
Giri’s eyes brightened as he spoke with conviction. “I’ve been waiting
for her all these years. Now that I have her… I will never leave her, in any
situation. She is mine, and I’m hers.”
With a small smile, he left the room, determined and resolute.
Later that night
Giri stands on the balcony, staring at the moon. The night feels dark
yet romantic — the air carries a quiet magic that wraps around him.
He thinks to himself, “I came here for love, and now I’m in the middle of a
war… but it’s okay. Anything for Twinkle.”
He smiles faintly at the moon. “And I still don’t know what a Wereape really
is.”
The door creaks open behind him.
He turns — it’s Twinkle. She walks toward him gracefully, her face glowing
beneath the silver moonlight.
“Sorry, Giri,” she says softly. “I got a little busy. How was the
breakfast and lunch?”
Giri smiles. “All good. Royal food, rich taste… but honestly, I’m
scared.”
“Scared?” Twinkle tilts her head. “Did Granny scare you? Or Revand’s
story?”
Giri shakes his head. “No… not your Granny, not Revand. It’s this place
— this palace, this luxury. It’s all too much. I keep thinking how I’ll ever
make you happy in my small world. You live in a dream I could never afford.”
Twinkle smiles gently, takes his hand, and places it against her heart.
“I love you, Giri,” she says. “I don’t care where we live. I just want to marry
you and be with you. That’s what destiny is.”
Giri looks into her eyes. “I don’t know about destiny,” he says softly,
“but I know I want to make you happy — always.”
He leans closer. Their breaths mix, hearts race, and the world around
them fades.
Then, their lips meet.
The kiss happens under the moonlight — soft, real, and poetic, as if time
itself holds its breath to watch them.
Just as the moment deepens—
Whistle!
They both freeze. Giri turns — Trisha, Gowtham, Shivani, and Riya stand
at the doorway, all watching with wide grins.
Shivani smirks. “Well, well… didn’t expect this to happen so fast.”
Trisha laughs. “This guy’s been wanting to kiss Twinkle since the day I
met him!”
Gowtham nods. “Finally got what you wanted, huh?”
Twinkle blushes. “Guys, stop,” she says, smiling in embarrassment.
Trisha turns to Riya. “What about you, Riya? Want to comment on the
kiss?”
Riya shakes her head with a small smile. “No… nothing to say.”
Giri looks at her closely. “Wait… I’ve seen you before.”
Gowtham chuckles. “Yeah, technically, you have.”
Shivani turned to Twinkle.
“Did you take him to the Great Hall?”
Riya frowned. “What’s that?”
Twinkle shook her head. “No, I didn’t. But… should we take him there
now?”
Giri looked at them, confused yet curious.
“What’s the Great Hall?”
Gowtham smirked. “Alright… let’s go. You’ll see for yourself.”
They all stepped into the lift. Trisha pressed the button for the minus third
floor.
Giri glanced around, puzzled.
“Wait… this palace has a ground floor?”
Trisha chuckled softly.
“You’re about to witness things you’ve never imagined… experience a whole new
world today.”
The lift doors slowly opened.
All of them turned toward Giri at once, their expressions
shifting—something darker, something inhuman.
In a chilling, monstrous tone, they said together:
“Welcome to the supernatural world.”
8. INTO SUPERNATURAL WORLD.
The lift came to a halt at the third basement level. With a soft
mechanical hum, the doors slid open to reveal absolute darkness. One by one,
they stepped out into the void. Giri paused near the entrance, squinting into
the gloom.
“I can’t see a thing,” he muttered. “Neither can I,” Riya replied.
Without hesitation, Trisha moved forward, her hand trailing along the
wall until her fingers found the power switch. She pulled it. The lights
flickered fitfully for a moment before the entire hall roared to life.
Giri’s eyes widened. The space was vast—breathtaking in its scale. The
walls were lined with old photographs: chronicles of warriors, ancient battles,
and creatures he didn't recognize. Weapons of every description were on
display—swords, axes, and spears—some weathered by age, others polished to a
mirror sheen. In the corners stood strange machines and mystical artifacts that
pulsed with a faint, unfamiliar energy.
It felt less like a room and more like a hidden world. Giri turned
slowly, taking it all in.
“So… what are we doing here?”
Gowtham stepped forward, his expression grim. “We’re going to train.”
Riya nodded in agreement. “And not just training. We’re going to trigger
your power… and teach you how to control it.” She looked directly at Giri. “You
need to learn how to shift from human to Wereape.”
Twinkle smiled slightly. “Hmm… Wereape. I like the sound of it.
” Trisha crossed her arms with a grin. “Too serious. I’m calling him
Monkman.”
Giri let out a soft sigh, still overwhelmed by his surroundings. The
hall stood silent, as if in anticipation. it was where his journey truly began.
Meanwhile, inside the ASH Corp building, Revand paced his office like a
madman, his movements fueled by a blind fury. In the corner, Indhu stood
perfectly still, a chilling smile on her face and her eyes glowing a sinister
red.
A man entered the room, and before he could speak, Revand was upon him.
He seized the man by the throat, his grip tightening with lethal intent.
“Tell me!” Revand hissed. “What happened? How did this happen?”
“Sir... please... I’ll tell you!” the man gasped, clawing at Revand’s
hand.
Revand released his grip, shoving the man back. Gasping for air, the
messenger began to speak. “Sir, there was another supernatural with her.
Judging by the traces left behind, he isn't a vampire, a werewolf, or even a
lycan. He is... different. All we know is that he looked like a monkey.”
“A monkey?” Revand roared. “Are you joking?”
From the corner, Indhu’s voice cut through the air. “What did you say? A
monkey? No, you fool—he is a Wereape. But that’s impossible. There are no
Wereapes left in North India or anywhere else in the world. They were supposed
to be extinct.”
“Ma'am,” the man stammered, “he is from South India.”
Revand’s eyes narrowed. “So, we are going to war. We need to know how to
kill him. By the way, what is his name?”
“His name is Giri,” the man replied.
Indhu stepped forward. “Revand, there is a way to defeat him. If we kill
someone he loves, he will become furious—but he will also become reckless. He
will focus only on the killer, and that is when we strike.”
“And how do we know who he loves?” the man asked.
“Idiot!” Indhu snapped. “He transformed the moment Twinkle was attacked.
It’s obvious—he loves Twinkle.”
Suddenly, Revand grabbed the man’s throat again, his grip crushing this
time. With his free hand, he slammed a red button on his desk. Within seconds,
his werewolf gang flooded the room.
“Get ready for war,” Revand commanded, his voice cold. “Recruit more
werewolves, nagins, werecoyotes, and kitsunes. I want a hundred of them for the
palace.”
With a sickening crack, Revand crushed the man's neck and let the body
slump to the floor. Looking at his blood-stained hands, he smiled darkly.
“After this war, my hands will be covered in the blood of Twinkle and Inaya.”
He pressed another button, and a concealed wall slid open to reveal an armoury
filled with weapons carved from White Chinar—wood designed specifically to kill
vampires.
“Take these,” Indhu commanded the gang. “Distribute them to the entire
team.”
Revand and Indhu locked eyes, sharing a twisted smile.
“That wedding ceremony... on the night of the Haldi,” Revand mused, his
voice dropping to a dark whisper. “Instead of being bathed in yellow water,
they will be covered in blood. That palace is going to become a graveyard.”
Indhu didn't reply; she simply stood there, murmuring an incantation
under her breath, a predatory smile never leaving her face.
Meanwhile, back in the basement hall, Giri and his friends sat in a
circle. The weight of the impending training hung heavy in the air.
“Giri, do you really not remember anything about your power?” Gowtham
asked, leaning forward. “Is there nothing in your family history?”
Giri shook his head, looking frustrated. “No. As far as I know, my
family is ordinary. I don't know if this is even in my bloodline.”
“It’s not just about bloodlines,” Riya interjected softly. “This kind of
power often comes from nature itself—like a rare gift.”
As they spoke, Shivani’s eyes suddenly widened. “Wait... guys, don’t you
remember? Think back to our 5th-standard school excursion.”
Twinkle frowned, trying to recall. “What happened?”
Giri looked just as confused as the others.
“Shivani, just spit it out,” Trisha urged, crossing her arms. “Look at
him—even Giri has no idea what you’re talking about.”
“My memory is a total blank,” Gowtham admitted. “Shivani, tell us.”
Shivani took a deep breath and began. “It was the trip to Ooty. Just the
four of us—me, Gowtham, Uvaise, and Giri. Something happened in those woods...”
Flashback: Ooty, 2006
In 2006, the school excursion to Ooty was in full swing. Giri, Gowtham,
Uvaise, and Shivani were playing in a park bordered by a dense, ancient forest.
While the teachers—including Giri’s own aunt—focused on the girls, the boys
were caught up in a heated game of soccer.
During the match, Uvaise kicked the ball too hard, sending it spiraling
deep into the dark treeline. Gowtham told Uvaise to go fetch it, but he flatly
refused, spooked by the shadows of the woods. Eventually, the group turned to
Giri and pressured him into going.
Giri disappeared into the forest to find the ball. Five minutes passed.
Then ten. Then fifteen.
Panic set in. The boys ran to Giri’s aunt, stumbling over their words as
they explained what had happened. The teachers immediately began a frantic
search, and soon, forest officers arrived on the scene. Giri’s aunt was
bordering on a breakdown.
“Ma’am, you and the PT sir stay here,” the lead officer commanded. “Get
the rest of the students back to the bus. We’ll handle the search party.”
Just as they were about to head in, a strange noise echoed from the
brush. Everyone froze, eyes locked on the forest edge.
First, a lone Lion-tailed Macaque emerged, perched on a low branch,
chattering a sharp "oo-oo-ah-ah." Then, dozens more began to
appear. It was an incredible sight: a massive troop of nearly fifty
monkeys—Nilgiri Langurs, Hanuman Langurs, Lion-tailed Macaques, and Bonnet
Macaques—all moving as one.
Walking calmly in the center of the troop was Giri. He looked shocked
and a bit rattled, but he wasn't afraid. It was as if the primates were a royal
guard, flanking him on all sides to keep him safe.
The moment Giri saw his aunt, he broke into a run toward her. The
teachers rushed to console him, checking for injuries, but Giri’s attention was
elsewhere. He turned back toward the forest and offered a small, knowing smile.
In response, the entire troop chattered loudly—a chorus of wild
acknowledgment—before vanishing back into the trees.
From the window of the bus, Shivani and Gowtham watched the scene in
stunned silence, witnessing something they couldn't yet explain.
Shivani finished telling the story.
Twinkle immediately turned to Giri. Don’t you remember this?”
Giri nodded slowly. “Yes… I remember. But I thought it was normal.
Monkeys are like us, right? I didn’t feel anything abnormal at that time.”
Gowtham frowned.“Even I don’t remember this happening…”A calm,
authoritative voice came from behind Giri.
Everyone turned.
Inaya stood there.
She walked forward slowly; her eyes fixed on Giri. “From this, we can
understand one thing,” she said. “You’ve had a connection with monkeys since
childhood… and “That very day, you gained your powers. But we don’t have any
records or inscriptions about Wereape abilities or origins. We only know that
Wereapes once existed.
But one thing I can say for certain… you were chosen to be a Wereape.”
Inaya said,
“Kids, train him. Try to trigger his powers—let the Wereape out. He
needs to learn to control it. That will be good for him… and for all of us. In
case Revand attacks, Giri will be a strong asset in our fight against him.”
Giri walked toward Twinkle, gently held her hand, and said,
“Whatever happens… with or without power, I will protect her.”
Trisha smirked.
“I already know that, bro—especially after you tried to kiss her in the
lift.”
Everyone laughed.
Inaya smiled and said,
“Kids, it’s already midnight. Go and rest. We’ll begin his training
tomorrow. The wedding is postponed to next week, so we still have time. Let’s
celebrate Shivani’s day properly.”
Giri turned to Twinkle.
“By the way… who is the vampire that’s going to marry Shivani?”
Shivani, overhearing from a distance, replied,
“Thank God, Giri… at least you asked now! And his name is Akash”
Giri looked surprised.
“How did you hear me?”
Shivani smiled.
“That’s also a vampire ability.”
Everyone laughed at Giri.
Riya said,
“Well… I’m just like you. I don’t have powers like them.”
Giri smirked.
“Okay, magician.”
One by one, everyone left the great hall and went to their rooms.
🌅 Next Morning
All of them gathered in the hall.
Giri stood at the center, surrounded by Twinkle, Riya, and Gowtham.
Giri looked around and asked,
“Okay… where are Trisha and Shivani?”
Twinkle replied,
“They went shopping for the wedding.”
Giri asked,
“Why didn’t you go?”
Twinkle smiled softly, holding his hand.
“I stayed back… to train you and take care of you.”
Gowtham clapped his hands.
“Alright, fellas… let’s train him. We’ll also show him everything about
the supernatural world and magic.”
Twinkle stopped him.
“Wait… we can surprise him at the wedding. He can witness everything
there.”
Giri nodded.
“Yeah, I agree with Twinkle. I want to see it with my own eyes.”
Riya sighed dramatically.
“Oh God… what are we going to do with this lover boy?”
Gowtham just smiled.
Gowtham went near Giri, smiled at his face. When Giri was about to smile
back, Gowtham punched him on his face.
“Oh shit,” said Giri.
“Come on Giri, switch to Monkman.”
Giri said, “You wolf, I don’t know how to switch, and it hurts.”
“Okay, cool,” said Gowtham.
Twinkle came near Giri. “What if I bite you and you switch?”
Riya said, “That is a good idea.” Then she said, “What if I put a spell
around him?” She took a red-colored chalk and drew a circle around him and put
a spell, so if he turns, he won’t be able to come out of that circle.
Gowtham said, “Wait, why didn’t you draw that in the first place before
I punched him?”
Riya said, “Wait, I don’t even know if this circle will work. Just as
protection I did. And you should also bite him, because you are the one who
triggered his power before.”
Giri was standing inside the circle. Twinkle held his right hand and
Gowtham held his left hand. Riya was standing in front of Giri. She made a
shield around her.
She counted, “1… 2… 3… now bite.”
When they both bit him, Giri’s eyes turned gold, and he pushed them towsards
Riya. Riya got shocked and moved away from them. They both flew and fell on the
table, and the table broke.
Gowtham saw Giri, but he was standing normal like nothing happened, and
also he was out of that circle, but he didn’t turn into Wereape.
Giri ran towards them. Both Twinkle and Gowtham were on the floor. Giri
gave his hand to Twinkle and made her stand up.
Gowtham said, “Hey, I am also on the ground.”
“Yeah, Gowtham, please stand by yourself.”
Gowtham stood up.
Riya said, “I think when you bit him, the Wereape blood just made a
reflex to protect itself from getting infected between werewolf bite and
vampire. He also broke my spell.”
Gowtham said, “Yes, we saw that.”
Twinkle said, “If we can’t know how to wake his power, why can’t we at
least teach him to use supernatural killing weapons?”
Riya said, “He also broke my spell.”
Gowtham said, “That’s a better idea.”
Twinkle went near a lady statue near the wall. She moved the statue. A
door opened.
Giri and the others walked inside. There were lots of guns, swords,
knives, and many weapons.
“Okay, Giri, come. Let me take you to the firing range. You can practice
there.”
They walked into another room connected to the hall.
The firing range was huge and looked completely professional. Twinkle
picked up a pistol and explained to Giri how to use and handle it.
“Giri, hold the pistol in your right hand, and support it with your left
to control the pressure,” she said.
Giri replied, “I know. I’ve seen it before. But let me see how you
shoot.”
Twinkle began shooting at the prop dummies. Every shot landed perfectly
on the head.
Giri said, “That’s astonishing.”
Gowtham smirked. “She’s a killer.”
Riya added, “I wish I could create a spell to control bullets.”
Giri then picked up a gun from the weapon stand. He noticed that some
bullets were white and made of wood, while others were silver.
“Why are these bullets made in different colors and materials?” he
asked.
Riya replied, “Don’t you remember? Silver bullets are used to hunt
werewolves, nagins, and similar creatures. And those white wooden bullets are
made from the white chinar tree—they’re very powerful.”
Giri smiled slightly. “You all are living in fear, aren’t you? Because
you never know when these might be used against you.”
Twinkle’s expression darkened. “That white chinar tree wiped out half of
my grandmother’s family. That’s also why Revand wants to kill your family.”
Giri paused. “I’m sorry… But if Revand’s great-grandfather, Kanhaiya,
truly loved your great-grandmother, why did he marry another woman? And now his
grandson wants revenge? I don’t understand.”
Gowtham sighed. “Listen, Giri. True love was destroyed because Kanhaiya
was a werewolf and she was from a vampire family. It was pure blood hatred. He
wants revenge. But Inaya and her family deserve to be saved—she was just a
teenager and had nothing to do with Iravati’s death.”
Gowtham continued, “Alright, Giri. Let’s practice until the day before
the wedding.”
Giri nodded. “Whatever the past story is, we’ll protect this family.”
A week passed.
Giri trained with guns, spike grenades, and a katana. He didn’t become a
master warrior, but he learned enough to attack and defend.
Later, Giri went to Inaya’s room.
“I’ve practiced well,” he said. “But we still need more people to fight
with us. I still haven’t figured out how to switch my powers.”
Inaya smiled gently. “It’s okay, Giri. When the time comes, you will. We
have our family to fight alongside us. And we don’t even know when he’ll
attack.”
Giri sighed. “That’s what worries me.”
“Let it go,” she said softly. “Don’t think too much. Soon, you’ll be
part of this family… after you marry Twinkle.”
Giri smiled. “I’m waiting for that day.”
Inaya nodded. “Alright, Giri. Now go get ready. Tomorrow is the pre wedding
and marriage is on day after tomorrow —it’s a big day for our family.”
“Okay,” Giri said, and left the room.
9. PRE-WEDDING
MASSACRE
Pre-wedding Day – Morning
Giri and Gowtham were sitting on the balcony, talking about what to do
for the pre-wedding, when Twinkle came with a bag.
Gowtham asked, “What is inside the bag?”
Twinkle asked, “Did you bring clothes to wear for the haldi?”
Giri said, “Wait, what? I thought today is the wedding day.”
Twinkle said, “The wedding and haldi are on the same day. This is not
common—the groom’s family wanted sangeet and haldi on the same day.”
“Okay Giri, come. Let me give you your haldi dress and wedding dress.”
She gave the bag to Giri and said, “Wear this today. In the afternoon,
wear the blue box, and in the evening, wear the yellow box.”
Gowtham said, “Hey Twinkle, Giri is not a kid. He knows when and what to
wear.”
Giri smiled at Twinkle and said, “Thank you, love.”
Twinkle said, “Hey, what did you call me?”
Giri felt shy.
Gowtham said, “Enough bro, I can’t see this.”
Twinkle smiled and said, “You’re welcome, Giri. See you at noon,” and
left the room.
Gowtham looked at Giri and said, “Man, your story started from nowhere,
and now it’s in full race. I never imagined you would end up in this family.
All I want is for you to be happy,” and he hugged Giri.
The palace was decorated grandly. The pre-wedding hall for the sangeet
was so colourful—it looked like something we see in a movie.
Giri opened the blue box from the table. Inside was a blue-coloured
blazer that looked very rich, with a vibrant golden tone. Gowtham had already
worn his blazer and, seeing Giri’s, said, “This one is so good. You will look
great in it.”
Giri wore the dress and showed it to Gowtham.
Gowtham said, “Man, you really look good. Perfect for the sangeet. But
do not forget, at Haldi you will be in yellow.”
Giri smiled and said, “Like we see in Hindi movies?”
Gowtham said, “Yes, exactly.”
A knock came at the door.
Gowtham opened it. Twinkle and Trisha were standing there. They came in
and saw Giri. Twinkle was mesmerized seeing Giri in that blazer.
Trisha said, “Wow, man!”
Giri looked at Twinkle and was stunned. She was wearing a red and blue
lehenga with some diamond jewelry.
Giri said, “You look so gorgeous and pretty, like a princess of this
palace.”
Twinkle felt shy hearing that.
Trisha said, “Look Giri, I am also wearing the same dress. Don’t I look
pretty?”
Giri said, “Of course you look pretty, but for me Twinkle is pretty,”
and smiled.
Gowtham said, “Yes Trisha, you look very pretty for me.”
Trisha smiled and said, “Thank you.”
Twinkle said, “Come Giri, let us go down. It is time to introduce you to
my other family members who came, and you must see other supernatural beings,”
and she paused.
Giri asked, “And what?”
Twinkle said, “You and I should go down as a couple, holding hands.”
Giri said, “Why not?” and smiled shyly.
Trisha said, “Okay, me and Gowtham will go down together. You come after
us.”
They both left the room.
Now Giri held Twinkle’s hand and walked out of the room.
They both walked into the hall. The hall was in full sangeet mood, with
music and dance, and people were having food. Everyone’s eyes were on them.
Vinay, Shilpa, and Inaya saw them walking into the hall. They were
surrounded by relatives.
Vinay said to Shilpa, “I want Twinkle to live a happy and peaceful life
with Giri at his place.”
Shilpa said, “Even my heart prays for that.”
Inaya said, “Son, don’t worry. They will be happy forever.”
While Twinkle and Giri were walking in, Giri saw all their relatives.
All of them looked different—he could sense something unusual in them.
Giri asked Twinkle, “I know these people are your relatives and they are
supernatural, but tell me what they are.”
Twinkle stopped and pointed. “Look on the left side, near Gowtham. There
are two women, right? They are nagins. Some nagins are near the food stall, and
some are dancing on the floor. Look near Trisha—there are some werewolves and
kitsune.”
Giri asked, “What is a kitsune?”
Twinkle said, “Kitsune are supernatural beings from Japan. Some of our
people are also kitsune, but mostly Japanese are kitsune.”
Giri said, “Oh, that’s why there are some Japanese people here.”
Twinkle added, “And over there, you can see some witches.”
They both walked towards Vinay, Shilpa, and Inaya.
Inaya said, “Kids, you both look so beautiful as a pair. I wish you get
married soon.”
Vinay asked, “Where are your parents?”
Giri said, “They are living with my brother in Sri Lanka.”
Shilpa said, “Okay Giri, one day we will come and meet your parents and
family in Sri Lanka or at your place to talk about you and Twinkle.”
Giri smiled and said, “Okay, aunty.”
They both moved to the food court and had some dessert and food.
Twinkle said, “Look over there, there is a table.”
Giri said, “Yes.”
Twinkle leaned closer and said, “Under that table, there are weapons.”
Giri asked, “So why did you keep them under the table?”
She replied, “It’s for precaution.”
Gowtham shouted Giri’s name.
Giri turned. Gowtham and Uvaise were standing there.
Giri was shocked and asked Twinkle, “Does Uvaise know about us… I mean,
supernatural things?”
Twinkle said, “Yes, he knows about us. He also works in ASC.”
Giri asked, “What is ASC?”
Twinkle smiled, “You go and ask him. I’m going to join the girls.
Trisha, Shivani, and Riya are waiting—we’re going to sing and dance.”
Giri said, “Super. I’ll watch you.”
Giri walked towards Uvaise and Gowtham.
Uvaise asked, “How are you, man?”
Giri said, “I’m good, but I don’t know why you guys keep surprising me,”
pointing at Gowtham. “Especially you.”
Uvaise and Gowtham smiled.
Giri asked Uvaise, “So you also know about all this? And Twinkle said
you work in ASC. What is that?”
Uvaise said, “Yes, Giri. I know about the supernatural, and yes, I work
in ASC.”
Giri asked, “What is it?”
Uvaise replied, “ASC means Anti Supernatural Control. We deal with
supernatural forces that are against normal humans.”
Giri said, “Good work.”
Giri then asked, “So why didn’t you stop Revand?”
Uvaise said, “There are many threats like Revand. We are trying, but the
government is hesitating to act because ASH Corp contributes a lot to the
country. So we can’t stop them until we get a solid chance.”
Giri asked, “So ASC exists in both North and South India?”
Uvaise said, “Yes.”
Giri looked at Gowtham and asked, “So… do I still have surprises left?”
Gowtham smiled and said, “Yes.”
Giri’s face dropped. “Not again…”
The sangeet started. All the relatives and friends began to dance.
People were enjoying and having food.
Later in the evening, everyone changed into sangeet outfits. Giri,
Gowtham, and the other boys wore yellow kurtas. All the girls wore yellow
kurtis. Shilpa and Inaya wore normal dresses, and Vinay also wore a yellow
kurta.
Shivani and Akash were playing haldi, applying sandal paste on each
other’s faces. The whole family joined in and did the same.
Giri was standing near the weapons table. On that table, there was
sandal paste.
Out of nowhere, Twinkle came near Giri and applied it on his face.
Giri smiled and applied it on Twinkle’s face. They both exchanged a cute
smile.
At that moment, Gowtham, Uvaise, Riya, and Trisha came near them—all
covered in sandal paste.
There was a loud boom at the door. Everyone turned towards it. In a
second, many werewolves, nagins, werecoyotes, and kitsune entered the hall and
started attacking the people.
Inaya and the whole family were shocked. Twinkle, Trisha, Akash, and
Shivani transformed into vampires and began to fight back.
Gowtham switched into his werewolf form and said to Riya, “Do your stuff
and protect Inaya.”
Uvaise looked at Giri and said, “Giri, turn the table.”
Giri flipped the table and saw there were lots of guns and spike
grenades underneath. Giri asked, “Uvaise, can you throw the grenade?”
Uvaise said, “No, I can’t. Our people are here too—it will hurt them.
It’s better we use guns.”
Uvaise took a shotgun and two pistols. Giri took two pistols. Both
started shooting at the enemy werewolves.
Shivani and Akash attacked the nagins together. Twinkle and Trisha were
fighting against the werecoyotes. Gowtham was surrounded by other werewolves.
He howled, and his pack, who were already near the palace, came to join the
fight.
The enemy team also had weapons to attack vampires, and they started
using them. Giri and Uvaise continued shooting. Riya attacked using her powers
by throwing broken objects around her.
Inaya sensed that things were getting out of hand—the Revand troops were
about to win. But Giri and his team fought back and took some control. They
killed several enemy members, but there were heavy losses on both sides.
Inaya had tears in her eyes seeing relatives and friends getting killed.
Twinkle was hunting down enemies.
Suddenly, Revand and Indhu appeared and tried to attack Twinkle. Indhu
used a chant to freeze Twinkle and pulled her towards them.
Revand stepped forward, about to crush her—
Out of nowhere, Giri shot Revand’s hand, but it didn’t hurt him. The
bullet came out of his hand as if nothing had happened. Giri was shocked.
Revand turned towards Giri. They both faced each other.
Revand asked, “So you are the one protecting Twinkle and her family,
right?”
Giri smiled and said, “Yes. And I will protect them forever.”
Revand smiled evilly. “For that… you need to stay alive.”
Inaya, Vinay, and Shilpa came near Revand and begged him to leave
Twinkle, Giri, and the rest of the family.
Revand said, “Look at your family now. They are all caught. If I say one
word, my people will slit their throats and drive Chinar knives into their
hearts.”
Giri looked around.
Shivani was held by a werewolf, with a Chinar knife at her neck. Gowtham
and his team were defeated. Akash, Trisha, Uvaise, and the rest of the family
were also captured, each with a knife at their throat.
Revand continued, “You might wonder why there are no knives on Gowtham
and his pack. I let them free because they belong to me… I mean, they are
werewolves.”
Giri also noticed that Riya was not there—she was hiding.
Inaya asked, “Why do you have so much hate on us?”
Revand said, “It is my great-grandfather’s wish and my father’s wish to
kill you and your people. Your sister ruined a true love. Because of that,
there was a massacre in our land and yours. Now, I have almost finished what
they started.”
Inaya said, “Then leave my family… let Twinkle live.”
Revand went near Vinay and Shilpa.
He asked, “You want your daughter to live, right?”
They said, “Yes.”
Revand smiled evilly.
In the next second, he placed his hands on them and ripped their hearts
out simultaneously.
The whole family was shattered.
Inaya shouted, “No!”
Twinkle cried, “Mom! Dad!”
Shivani and Trisha broke down in tears.
Giri’s anger exploded. He kicked Revand from behind. Revand moved a few
steps forward, then turned back.
“I almost forgot… you are the Wereape,” Revand said. “Why don’t you
switch?”
He looked at Indhu and said, “Look, this is the guy you were scared of.
He is nothing.”
Indhu smiled evilly.
Revand came face to face with Giri again.
When Giri tried to punch him, Revand stopped him by holding his hands
and threw him across the hall. Giri flew and fell onto a table.
Revand rushed towards him and started punching his face. Giri began to
bleed. Revand threw him against the wall and continued attacking him.
Trisha, Twinkle, Gowtham, and Uvaise shouted, “Please stop! Leave him!
He is innocent!”
Inaya stepped forward and said, “Please leave him. Take me.”
Giri lay on the floor, bleeding all over his face, crying because he
couldn’t help them.
Revand bent near Giri and said in his ear, “Now I am taking Inaya and
Twinkle with me. I will leave you and the others. Don’t dare come after me… or
I will kill them brutally.”
Giri tried to hold Revand’s shirt, but he only touched the pendant
around Revand’s neck.
Suddenly, flashes of memory appeared—Kanhaiya and Iravati.
Giri went unconscious.
Indhu opened a portal.
Revand took Inaya and Twinkle with him and disappeared.
The whole family was shattered.
Bodies were lying all over the palace.
The remaining people stood broken… helping each other in silence.
10. END OF ALL.
Giri had a flashback from his school trip while he was unconscious.
Flashback:
Giri, as a kid, walked into the forest to pick up the ball. While
searching, he was suddenly chased by a wild swine. Giri ran as fast as he
could, not knowing where he was going.
While running, his leg got stuck between roots, and he fell down. The
wild swine was about to attack him.
Suddenly, a troop of monkeys came and saved him.
Giri heard a sound—someone was approaching him.
Slowly, he turned his head… and was shocked.
There was a monkey-like man standing behind him.
He said, “Hi.”
Giri replied, “Hi… who are you?”
The figure said, “People call me the God of Monkeys… or the King of
Apes. I know you won’t understand what I’m saying now, but listen carefully.”
He held Giri’s hand. Both of their eyes turned golden.
Looking into his eyes, he said:
“There are no Wereapes now. I need someone like you in the future to
save lives. I cannot be there all the time.”
“So, I choose you… to be the new Wereape after many centuries.”
“I will give you powers—flight, high jumps, super strength, super
recovery, and heightened senses.”
“You will also gain extended life. At the age of 32, you will stop aging
and remain young forever.”
“But this power will only awaken when you reach your full potential.”
“When that happens, you will remember this conversation.”
“You are not a god… not just a supernatural being… you are a superhuman.
But when you switch to Wereape, your appearance will change—it will act as a
disguise.”
“You will transform, just like a werewolf.”
“And remember… you can call me the King of Apes.”
With that, he disappeared.
The young Giri slowly closed his eyes.
Present:
Giri suddenly opened his eyes from unconsciousness.
He was lying on a bed.
Trisha, Shivani, Uvaise, Riya, and Gowtham were standing around him.
Giri got up fast, sat on the bed, and asked, “What happened?”
Shivani was furious at Giri. “You are asking what happened? Damn you,
you failed to save her. I know you are always a failure since we met. All I did
was because of Twinkle and her love towards you.”
Gowtham consoled Shivani. “Hey, why are you shouting at him? Even if
Giri was not here, he would have taken her.”
Trisha said, “Yes, Shivani, what can we do? All these years we were in
disguise in this royal family to escape from threats like Revand and ASC.
Whatever is meant to happen will happen.”
Giri silently watched them and also processed his dream and what had
happened.
Giri asked, “How many hours has it been since Inaya and Twinkle were
kidnapped by Revand?”
Uvaise said, “12 hours.”
Giri said, “Guys, there is something wrong with Revand and something
fishy about Indhu.”
Gowtham asked, “What are you talking about?”
Giri said, “While Revand was punching me, I accidentally touched his
pendant which he was wearing.”
Shivani asked, “What is that?”
Giri said, “Shivani, wait, let me process,” and Giri started to meditate
and think about that.
While he was meditating, he again got flashback memories of Kanhaiya,
Iravati, and Indira on that night before the massacre happened in the village.
Giri opened his eyes.
Giri said, “Guys, all these years you have been fooled. Not just you,
but all the people.”
Everyone was confused when Giri said this.
Uvaise asked, “Giri, what are you blabbering?”
Giri said, “Wait, Uvaise, let me tell you guys something. The story that
you people are believing about Revand and Indhu is fake.”
Shivani asked, “What fake?”
Giri smiled with pity at them. “Revand is not the great-grandson of
Kanhaiya, and Indhu is not the great-granddaughter of Indira.”
Trisha interrupted Giri and asked, “Did you get hurt badly in your
head?”
Giri said, “Let me finish. Revand is Kanhaiya, and Indhu is Indira.”
When Giri said this, everyone got shocked. Everyone looked at each
other.
Trisha said, “This guy has gone mad after that Revand hit on his head.”
Giri said, “No, he is Kanhaiya.”
Shivani said, “Giri, please explain what you saw.”
Giri started to say what he saw.
Flashback:
On that night, Kanhaiya was standing with Indira. Indira took a pendant
necklace from the sky using magic. Kanhaiya got surprised by that and said,
“You are really a hell of a magician.” She gave it to him and asked him to wear
it. He asked what it was for. She said this was her gift and it would give him
immortality so he could live with Iravati forever. She said, “Look at my neck,
I am also wearing it.”
Kanhaiya said thank you and wore it. When he wore it, his eyes turned
green and then went back to normal.
Indira, in her mind, said, “This pendant will give you immortality, and
at the same time, I will control you like a puppet. You won’t even realize it
until both your pendant and mine are broken. From now on, you and Iravati will
be in my control. Using both of you, I will kill both your villages and take my
revenge.”
Iravati came there. Kanhaiya asked why she was late. She said her father
accepted their love and asked her to go with him and get married. Both felt
happy and kissed each other.
While kissing, Iravati suddenly started to bleed from her mouth, and
white Chinar wood pieces came out of her body like needles. Kanhaiya was
shocked and started to cry and asked Indira for help, but she said, “Sorry,
son, I can’t save her. She will die.”
In a few seconds, she died. Iravati smiled at Kanhaiya before she died.
Kanhaiya howled loudly and started to cry. Iravati’s pendant glowed
green, and Kanhaiya’s pendant also glowed green. Indira took control of
Kanhaiya.
In a moment, Kanhaiya entered the village and killed her family. Because
of this, both vampire and werewolf villagers started to fight, and both
villages were destroyed.
Now Kanhaiya and Indira were standing near the river. Kanhaiya went into
the river to clean himself.
While he was cleaning, Indira talked to herself. “I don’t know how many
years it takes, but I will kill Inaya and her descendants, and also your
descendants, Kanhaiya. You are my pet werewolf. I am going to do everything
with you, and your name will be remembered everywhere. We will live with
different names in the coming years, acting as if we are descendants of
Kanhaiya and Indira. I will remember the truth, but you will believe that you
are a descendant of Kanhaiya and I am a descendant of Indira.”
Present:
Giri finished telling the story. Everyone was shocked.
Uvaise asked, “But how can people not find them and think they are
seeing descendants of Kanhaiya’s family?”
Giri said, “Sorry, only Indhu has the answer.”
Trisha said, “You mean Indira.”
A portal opened at the balcony. Riya came out of it.
Giri looked at her and said, “Look who is back. The one who escaped from
the fight is now back.”
Riya said, “It’s not like you think.”
Giri got down from the bed and walked straight to Riya, furious. He
grabbed her neck and lifted her up.
Riya said, “Giri, please listen to me.”
While he did this, Giri’s eyes turned gold, a tail appeared, and his
body grew bigger. He turned into a Wereape.
Everyone got shocked because this was the first time they were seeing
Giri transform into a Wereape.
Gowtham said, “Giri, stop.”
Giri put her down.
Uvaise said, “Man, you finally found a way to switch your power.”
Giri said, “Yes.”
Gowtham asked, “How?”
Giri explained what he saw when he was unconscious and what happened in
that forest during his school trip as a kid.
Trisha asked Giri, “Go out and show us that you can fly and have super
jump power.”
Shivani said, “Guys, he is not Superman.”
Giri smiled at them, ran to the balcony, and jumped. He jumped high.
Everyone ran to the balcony and saw Giri floating in the sky and flying.
Uvaise looked at Shivani and said, “We got our own Superman.”
Trisha said, “Anyway, I don’t think he has cold breath, heat vision, or
X-ray vision like Superman.”
Everyone laughed and felt slightly happy despite losing family members
and Twinkle and Inaya being kidnapped.
Gowtham looked at Riya and asked, “Why did you run?”
Giri came near them, floating near the balcony, still in his Wereape
form.
Riya said, “Yes, I was scared to face them and fight. But when I saw
Revand and Indhu, I felt something was wrong. Their aura felt very old and full
of dark energy. I went back to my home to check it, and what Giri said about
Revand—I mean Kanhaiya—and Indira is true.”
Giri asked, “Do you know why Indira is doing this?”
Riya said, “We need to find that.”
Shivani said, “How? We should confront them and fight. Break the
pendant, and Indira will tell us everything.”
Uvaise asked, “So when are we going to save them?”
Giri said, “Soon… tonight.”
At Ash Corp,
15th floor — the entire floor had glass walls, so they could see everything
happening around the city. A complete 360-degree glass floor view. It was a
huge hall, surrounded by a pack of werewolves, around 20 of them.
Indhu had made a spell around Twinkle and Inaya. The spell created a
containment field. Both of them were lying on the floor unconscious. Revand was
sitting on a chair, and Indhu was sitting near him.
Indhu asked, “Why didn’t you kill them both in the first place? And why
did you leave the other vampires alive?”
Revand said, “My objective is to kill Iravati’s family and pure-blood
vampires. The ones I left are not pure-blood. Most of them were either born
non-pure or turned into vampires out of fear of death.”
Indhu said, “We shouldn’t think about sin and logic now. What if they
come after us?”
Revand replied, “If they come after us, especially Giri and his friends,
and Twinkle’s cousins, we will kill them all.”
He paused and added, “And why didn’t that Giri change into a Wereape?”
Indhu said, “He still hasn’t figured out his powers or how to switch
them.”
Indhu walked near the glass window and thought to herself, Shit… I
can make him do anything, but if I keep controlling his brain, he might go mad…
like a rabies-affected dog.
Twinkle and Inaya slowly woke up from unconsciousness.
Revand looked at them and said, “Oh, look… two beautiful women woke up.
You both look like twin sisters. No normal human would believe that you are
grandmother and granddaughter.”
Inaya said, “Revand… son, please listen to me. Your great-grandfather is
like my brother. I really don’t know why he was angry at me. And when my other
sister Veena killed Iravati, I was just a teen.”
Revand replied, “I know that. But my mind is filled with hatred for you
and your entire bloodline.”
Inaya said softly, “You have your great-grandfather’s face.”
Revand smiled.
Indhu said, “Come on, Revand, let’s kill them.”
Inaya looked at Indhu and asked, “Why do you have so much hatred for us,
lady?”
Indhu said, “I hate your face.”
And in her mind, she thought, Haha… my day has come. Once these two are
killed, I will kill this Kanhaiya and take over this company.
Revand said, “Let’s kill them tonight. It should be fun for us… and
painful for them.”
Time passed. It was evening, 6 PM.
Meanwhile, Giri was standing near the closed garage in the palace.
Uvaise came with his team. Gowtham arrived with his pack. Sandeep also came,
who was not there before. Riya, Trisha, and Shivani were also there.
Giri said, “Guys, we are going to Ash Corp building to meet them…
professionally, okay?”
Gowtham smiled and said, “Really? Professionally?”
Giri said, “Uvaise, you don’t need to come with me there. You stay
nearby with your team in another building, with snipers.”
Uvaise said, “Okay,” and left.
Giri looked at Trisha and Shivani. “I think you both don’t need to come
with us.”
Shivani asked, “Why?”
Giri said, “Because I don’t want to lose my first school enemy… and her
cousin Trisha.”
Trisha smiled.
Shivani said, “No, Giri. I have to come to save Twinkle and my
great-grandmother. And Twinkle is not just my cousin… she is also my best
friend.”
Trisha said, “I agree with Shivani.”
Giri said, “But you are going to get married to Akash. What will he
think?”
Shivani replied, “Family comes first. And Akash is okay with it. He told
me I can go with you.”
Giri smiled. “Good groom. So… can we go in a car from Twinkle’s
collection in the garage? You all know I can fly and reach there fast, and you
guys can too, but not at my speed. Also, werewolves can’t travel like that. And
Riya can’t open a portal there either.”
Riya said, “No, I can’t. Indira has cast a spell around the building.
Except her, no one can create a portal there.”
Giri said, “Super… then let’s go by car.”
Shivani smiled and opened the garage. There were around 10 cars,
including supercars.
She asked, “Which car do you want?”
Giri said, “I don’t know how to drive, but I want to go in her favorite
car.”
Trisha pointed at a red Hummer. “This one is her favorite.”
Giri said, “Come on, guys, let’s go.”
Gowtham asked Sandeep and the rest of his pack to follow them.
Gowtham went to the red car and opened the driver’s seat. Trisha and
Riya went to the back and sat. As Shivani was about to sit, Giri held her hand.
“Thank you,” he said.
Shivani smiled. “For what?”
Giri said, “I know you didn’t like me since childhood, but still you
helped me and Twinkle patch things up. And… you played that amnesia drama too.”
Shivani said, “Yes, I hated you back then… maybe even now. You were mean
and a silent bully. But I really wanted you and her to get back together. And
I’m sorry about that amnesia drama.”
Giri smiled and gave her a friendly hug. They both got into the car.
Gowtham started the car.
Shivani added, “Also, Giri… I hated you for trying to flirt with me when
we were kids.”
Everyone in the car looked at Giri.
Trisha said, “You look innocent… but you were doing all playboy
activities.”
Giri said, “Guys… that was when I was a kid!”
Gowtham drove the car forward, passing the lawn.
They all saw the tomb of Vinay and Shilpa.
Everyone went silent for a moment… feeling a little sad.
They reached the Ash Corp building. Gowtham’s pack also arrived.
Everyone got down from the car. Giri tried to walk inside the building
entrance, but Gowtham pulled him back and said, “Wait, we should have a plan
before going inside. This is not your home.”
Giri said, “I have a plan.”
Trisha asked, “What plan?”
Giri said, “I’ve asked Uvaise and his team to surround the building.
They will be on sniper positions from a nearby building to keep an eye on us.
We don’t know on which floor Twinkle is. So we should give him a clear idea
once we reach the floor. And once we reach, we should make Revand, aka
Kanhaiya, realize what has happened and what is happening to him.”
Shivani said, “But without breaking the pendant, we can’t do that.”
Giri said, “For that, we have Riya. She can do some spells to make them
stand like statues.”
Gowtham asked, “Riya, can you do that?”
Riya said, “Yes… I can,” with hesitation.
Giri smiled and said, “Be confident, Riya. You can do it. And Gowtham,
let your pack stay here. Sandeep can come with us. Your pack can stay down
here, so if any problem comes from outside, they can handle it.”
Giri then looked at Gowtham’s pack and said, “Don’t be like Kanhaiya.
Don’t judge sin or logic like he did before.”
Gowtham said, “Don’t worry. They are loyal only to me and my friends.
They are more than just a pack to me.”
Giri, Shivani, Gowtham, Sandeep, Riya, and Trisha went inside the
building.
Giri went near the receptionist and asked, “Is Mr. Revand here?”
She said yes and asked, “Who are you all?”
Shivani said, “We are relatives of Revand.”
The receptionist called one of Revand’s pack members who was on the 15th
floor.
A pack member attended the call.
The receptionist said, “Sir, there are a few people here to meet our
CEO.”
He asked, “What are their names?”
The receptionist looked at Giri and asked, “Sir, what is your name? They
are asking.”
Giri said, “Tell them Giri… and family.”
The receptionist said on the call, “They said Giri and family.”
The pack member got shocked and went near Revand. “Sir, they are here…
Giri and the rest are here.”
Revand smiled and said, “Okay. Allow them.”
The pack member told the receptionist, “Ask them to come to the 15th
floor,” and cut the call.
The receptionist looked at Giri and the others, pointed to a nearby
lift, and said, “You can go and meet them on the 15th floor.”
Shivani said, “Thank you,” and they all went to the lift. Riya pressed
the 15th floor button.
Revand looked at Twinkle and Inaya and said,
“Be happy. You both are not going to die alone. Giri and his friends are here.
You all will die on this floor.”
He smiled evilly. Indira was completely in a killing mood.
Inside the lift
Trisha said, “Sorry guys, I don’t know why, but right now I’m feeling
panicked.”
Giri said, “From the beginning, I’ve been feeling the same.”
Riya said, “Guys, you all have superpowers, and I’m the only normal
witch here.”
Gowtham said, “Look at Indira. She is a witch too, but she’s controlling
a werewolf and doing all this villain stuff.”
Shivani said, “Guys, please stop blabbering. We are about to reach the
15th floor.”
Giri noticed Sandeep, who was standing quietly. He asked, “Bro, are you
afraid of this situation?”
Sandeep said, “I’m just afraid that I’m with a scared team, that’s all.”
Giri said, “Thank you.”
Trisha said, “Hey Giri, he is making fun of us, and you’re saying thank
you?”
Giri said, “I know what to do. He is with us now.”
The lift reached the floor.
Giri said, “This lift is slower than regular lifts.”
They all stepped out.
Giri took his AirPod, put it in his ear, and called Uvaise to give
instructions.
Uvaise picked up the call. He was with his team. Giri said, “We are on
the 15th floor.”
Uvaise said, “Okay,” and told his team, “Guys, move to the 15th floor.”
Giri said, “Uvaise, stay on the call. I’ll give you instructions on when
to use the snipers.”
Uvaise said, “Okay.”
Revand’s pack members came and took them to the room where Twinkle and
Inaya were.
Giri saw Twinkle and Inaya locked inside a confinement spell field. He
went to hug Twinkle, but the field blocked him. Shivani and Trisha also tried
to hug Inaya, but they couldn’t.
Indhu said, “You can’t do anything.”
Riya said, “Let’s see.”
Indhu saw Riya and said, “Hi, little witch.”
Giri, with full confidence, looked at Revand and said, “Hi Kanhaiya sir,
how are you?”
When he said this, Indira got shocked. She asked, “What are you
blabbering?”
Giri smiled and said, “Granny Indira, I’m not blabbering.”
She got tense and told Revand, “Kill them all. We can kill Twinkle and
Inaya later.”
Revand said, “Calm down, Indhu. This guy has gone mad after getting hit
by me.”
Trisha said, “Yes sir, you are right.”
Revand smiled and asked his pack to surround Giri and his team. He
looked at Twinkle and Inaya and said, “Look, you both are going to get your
hearts broken again.”
Giri said, “Sir, look here. Do you think these 20 werewolves can kill
us?”
Giri closed his eyes and switched into his Wereape form. Shivani and
Trisha turned into vampire form, and Gowtham and Sandeep turned into
werewolves. Twinkle and Inaya felt happy seeing Giri. Kanhaiya and Indira were
shocked.
Giri said, “What, guys? I can see fear in your eyes now. But don’t
worry… when I count from 1 to 3, 15 of you will die. The remaining 5 vs 5,
okay?”
Revand said, “What are you saying?”
Giri started counting, “1… 2… 3… shoot!”
Uvaise and his team shot 15 werewolves using snipers with silver
bullets.
Giri said, “Now 5 vs 5.”
Everyone started fighting. Kanhaiya and Indira stood together.
Gowtham fought with one werewolf, Sandeep too. Shivani and Trisha fought
two werewolves together. Giri ripped out one werewolf’s heart before the fight
even started.
Shivani said, “Giri, come, please do this to all.”
Giri said, “This is your fight too. Fight. I have to go one-on-one with
Revand.”
Giri went face-to-face with Kanhaiya. His eyes were on the pendant. Both
started hand-to-hand combat. Giri hit a powerbomb on the table. Kanhaiya stood
up and hit a chokeslam on Giri. When Kanhaiya tried to punch Giri in the chest,
Giri locked him in a deadlock move. Kanhaiya struggled to escape.
At the same time, Shivani, Trisha, Gowtham, and Sandeep killed the
remaining werewolves. Then they went to fight Indira. Riya used her magic to
attack her. All of them tried to attack, but Indira defended with magic and
fought back.
Giri saw them and wanted to distract her. Kanhaiya was about to become
unconscious. Giri saw this as the right moment and plucked the pendant from
him.
Indira saw this and shouted, “No!”
Giri said, “Riya, now!”
Riya also pulled the pendant from Indira and threw it to Giri. He caught
it and smashed both pendants on the floor, breaking them.
As the pendants broke, the spell on Twinkle and Inaya also broke.
Kanhaiya came out of Indira’s control. He was free, but he didn’t die.
Shivani asked, “How is this possible? I thought once we break the
pendants, they would die.”
Indira laughed. “We are immortal not just because of the pendants, but
also because of the rings we wear. The only thing that changed is that he is no
longer under my control.”
Kanhaiya processed everything he had done over the years. He saw Inaya
and went near her.
“I’m sorry, sister. I didn’t do all that… she made me do it.”
Inaya said, “It’s okay, brother. I know what happened.”
Kanhaiya turned to Indira and asked, “Why did you do this?”
She said, “Because of hatred… and love. Inaya, do you remember your
brother? He loved my daughter. I accepted it, and your mother did too. But your
sister, with her vampire pride, killed your brother and your mother. She made
both villages turn against my family, saying we practiced black magic and were
dangerous.”
“Both villages burned my family. Only I survived. I wanted revenge… so I
did all this using Kanhaiya and Iravati.”
Giri said, “You have a sad story, but killing is not an option.”
Indira smiled.
Kanhaiya walked near a chair, knelt down, and cried for what he had done
to both villages.
Gowtham and Sandeep went to console him. Inaya walked toward Shivani and
Trisha. Riya stood silently in a corner.
When Giri and Twinkle were about to hug, Indira suddenly used her magic
and threw Twinkle out of the 15th floor. The glass shattered, and Twinkle fell
outside.
Everyone saw this and ran toward the broken glass, except Inaya and
Kanhaiya.
Giri flew out and caught Twinkle.
While everyone was distracted, Indira took a Chinar knife and tried to
attack. But Kanhaiya came in between and got stabbed in the chest.
Everyone turned back.
Riya summoned a sword using her magic and cut off Indira’s head. Her
head fell to the floor.
Giri came back inside the building.
Kanhaiya lay on Inaya’s lap. Gowtham looked at Kanhaiya’s finger and
asked, “Where is the ring?”
Kanhaiya smiled and said, “I don’t need that.”
Inaya cried and asked, “Why did you save me?”
Kanhaiya said, “You were my favorite child in the village… and you have
her eyes.”
He smiled and said, “Now I will live with Iravati in the afterlife.”
He slowly died.
Next day morning,
Giri, Gowtham, Twinkle, Inaya, Shivani, Riya, and Trisha were standing
in the lawn. There was also a tomb for Kanhaiya. Everyone paid respect to those
who died.
Giri said, “Finally, everything is over. And Ash Corp is now under our
control.”
Gowtham said, “Yes.”
Twinkle said, “Thank you, Giri,” and kissed him on the lips. Giri felt a
jolt inside.
Trisha said, “Finally, our lover boy got his kiss.”
Everyone smiled happily.
