chapter 1

From Strangers to Teammates: The First Day Group Interaction

 

Hi my name is Giri (26 years old, glasses, medium long black hair, and little fat thin) and this story about how I fell in love with a beautiful woman in this universe, let’s get into the STORY.YOU WILL read this story from my point of view, the italic words are my mind voice.

Alarm rings, it was 6am in the morning. month of FEBRUARY

 

I woke up at 6am in the morning, I am eager about today because today is my first day to work as an HR in leading company in Chennai and the name is Prime tech. Actually, this is my  3^rd job. I went and took bath and came near to my wardrobe and picked my favorite blue shirt and black pant and came out of my room, the whole house is empty, yes because I live in apartment and my family lives in another city. I went to my kitchen and took some bread and jam from the fridge and I came to the hall and there was a plate on the table In front of the TV. Likewise, I ate the food. And went near the shoe stand and picked up the black shoes. I wore it and took my sling mens  bag, I came out of the house and locked it, my office is nearby the house I am staying around 780 meters.

 

I started to walk and reached the office building, my office is in 7^th floor, I went inside the lift and pressed 7^th floor, at the time I heard sound someone shouting please stop the lift, I stopped the lift. (It was a guy around  32 years old 6.2 feet (1.89 m) having long hair and thin body, blue lens and French beard), and he said (bhaiya stop Karo) Brother stop, his voice was so loud, and he entered into the lift and said thank you (bhaiya) brother. I smiled at him and said no problem brother me in my mind “HE looks like big Guy in height and age and call me brother” he asked are you working in Prime tech? I said nope brother I am going to work from today and what about you? Well firstly my name is Tushar Kumar and YES, I am same as you brother new to this company as HR, and he raised his hand and gave me shaken, I said same here and I raised my hand and gave him perfect shake. The lift opened he first went out to the floor, turned around and said brother you still didn’t say your name brother smile on his face, I smiled at him said sorry brother my name is Giri. He said come on Giri bro, let’s get into the office. I came out and the lift closed.

 

 

Me and Tushar went inside the OFFICE, there were two people standing near reception, one of them was a security of this floor and other one was a young lady she was the receptionist. he headed towards her and said we are the new HR of this company.

 

She said good morning and can I know your names please, he said myself Tushar Kumar and he is Giri, She wished good morning to both of them and said sir please wait in the lobby, Tushar asked why? She said actually you have to meet the COO first before get started to work and there are still 3 more HR to join today and two more are already in the lobby, you go and wait with them. Tushar said ok to her and said come Giri bro let’s go to that lobby, I said ok and asked where is the lobby? The receptionist said it on your right and gestured in hand showing right.

 

I smiled at her said thank you, me and Tushar went inside the lobby, there were other two HR were sitting, I said to Tushar come bro let’s sit and we both started to talk, I asked him where are you from? He said I’m from Pune, and he asked me where are you from? I said I’m from Tirupur, in opposite there was a girl, she asked me are you from Tirupur with smile on her face, I smiled and said yes sister I’m from Tirupur and what about you? She said I’m from Coimbatore. I said anyway we are neighbors. And smiled, I said well my name is Giri and you sister? She said my name is Minnie Mervin (31 years old, 5.8 feet (1.77 m), long hair and black eyes)

 

Tushar was watching us what we are TALKING, in a sudden he said Hi Minnie I’m Tushar Kumar and nice to meet you. I smiled at him and saw the other guy, he was completely on his mobile. I asked to Tushar, bro is this guy is really into his phone or just showing off his new iPhone to us, Minnie heard me and said he is into his phone, and she waved her hands on his face, he looked at Minnie and asked what Minnie? She said look there are two new humans in this room, and you are so much into your phone, he looked at us and apologized bro I was really into the phone, Tushar said YEAH, we know that.  He said by the way I’m Tushar kumar and he is Giri. He looked at us said my name is Saran (25 years old 6.2 feet (1.89 m), short hair, black eyes and bulk body).

 

Minnie said, and I’m Minnie to Saran, saran smiled and said yes, I know madam. Tushar asked saran so you two know each other, saran said yes, we both are friends from our old company and we both are here now. Tushar said hmm, nice. saran asked to Tushar, so you and Giri are too friends, Tushar said no we are not and I said we just met in lift. saran said ok and asked Tushar where are you from and Giri bro what about you? Tushar said he is from Pune and when I about to say Minnie said he is from my neighbor city. Saran said that’s cool, we have Pune guy and two Tamil guys. Tushar asked where are you from, saran said I’m from Bangalore. i asked so you and Minnie worked in Bangalore, Minnie and saran said yes.

 

Door opening sound,,,,

Two girls came inside both were looking pretty good Tushar said hmm charming girls bro, I looked at him and said yes with smile. Saran said hi girls are you two are the other two HR’s we are waiting for.  One girl was wearing blue salwar with Hijab and other girl was wearing red stripe shirt. The red stripe girl said yes, we are the remaining two, and by the way my name is Harsha bhatt (28 years old brown eyes 5.8 feet (1.77 m) brown hair) and she looked at blue salwar girl and asked your name sweety? She said my name is Samira bee, I said nice name, and I’m Giri.

 

Others introduced themselves, Samira mentioned she is from Chennai and Harsha said she is from Mumbai. Harsha asked guys can I ask you something? Saran said yes you can and others nodded head. She asked do everyone got married, I smiled and said no and saran said nope. Minnie said, i got married and having a son in Bangalore. Tushar said I’m married to a woman in Pune and her name is Lavanya. Samira said nope, I’m single and happy. Harsha said that’s good, I am going to get married next year. all said congratulation to her.

 

I started to talk with Tushar and saran about their life. in mean time

i started to look at Samira (23 years old 5.7 feet, glasses, long hair, cute black eyes) in my mind “wow this girl is too cute and good better to not fall in love”

 

Again, the door opened, a 50-YEAR-OLD tall man gray hair man wearing coolers came inside the room and said hi Fellas, I’m Paul Levesque your COO and I really wanted to welcome you all 7 members to this Organization the Prime Tech, saran interrupted and said Paul but here we are only 6 members here. Paul smiled. Tushar murmured man; don’t say you are the  7^th member of this group. I smiled when Tushar said this.

 

Paul waved his hand from behind him, a girl came into the room, Paul said guys this is your HR Manager, she is the one will be leading you and her name is Karishma (28 years old, 6 feet, brown hair, and black eyes, she is a Nepali)

Saran laughed and said Giri bro we have Chinese Girl as our Manager, I again smiled. Minnie heard that and said idiot stop, she might have heard you. Karishma face went angry, but she smiled and said Saran I’m not a Chinese girl, but my Ancestors are from Nepal.

 

Tushar asked so you are a nepali and smiled. She said no I was born and raised in India; I am Indian. Paul said guys Karishma will be here with you rest of the day and year, so you can ask her anything, and you all can share anything with her and others, he said ok guys bye take care, while leaving he looked at me and said champ you must speak more with smile, I said yes Paul I will in silent tone. Saran said Giri bro why he is calling you champ I said it’s secret bro, but you will know it in the future.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Chapter 2

Love's Core: A Canteen Connection

A month passed, everyone got comfortable with each other Saran got close with Harsha as couple, and I got close with Samira as best friend all these girls got close, but sometimes girls will fight with Harsha for her sassy attitude. Me, Tushar, and Saran were bro zoned, So we three always hang together.

 

One day, in the office

I was in a team call with my candidates over the zoom in lounge, while I was speaking about the joining date to the candidates, I got a text in zoom from saran “Hey Giri bro come to cafeteria it is Harsha’s Birthday we need to cut the cake for her. I replied him will be there in 10 minutes. i finished the call, and I was about to close the laptop I saw Samira was sitting behind my laptop on the other chair, she said champ you are always busy on work. I smiled at here. She said you are so cute, nice smile;

 

I smiled at her again and said thank you. She said come let’s go others are waiting in cafeteria. I asked her, is Harsha too there in cafeteria, I thought it is a surprise cake cutting for her. Samira said no she is in her cabin talking with her mom, so we both will go to her pick her up and go to cafeteria, I said i am feeling like a car driver and smiled at her, she said lame joke Giri and smiled, I said anyway you smiled right, and we both went to Harsha cabin and asked her to come with us, she came with us, and we entered into cafeteria Tushar,  Minnie and Karishma blasted color papers over her. Harsha overwhelmed by seeing this and Saran was standing In front of the table, on the table there were cakes and gifts for her.

 

Harsha walked towards the table, and she saw it was a red mango chocolate cake it is her favorite one, saran lighted up the candle, all were around the cake and started to sing “HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU,”

Harsha blow the candle. she cut the caked and gave it saran, she said thankyou to saran with love in her eyes.

 

Minnie said dear Harsha we too sang and bought you that cake but you are saying thank you to saran, Harsha smiled and ok thank you guys and hugged saran said love you to Saran, oh we all got shocked nah expect me, I found long before that Harsha has feelings on Saran because I’m Giri the good observer. Saran proposed to Harsha by kneeling down and he took a ring from his pocket and asked to her will you be love of my life with love and excitement tears in his eyes. she said yes all cheered up because I know she will say yes. Tushar and Minnie were cutting the cake and giving to us I bought one and gave it to Samira, she said thank you.

 

From my behind Minnie said Giri she has two hands, she can get one from me don’t do social service, I told look this just man to man help with smile, Samira saw this and said guys stop arguing, Giri is my BFF so he is helping me out. Minnie said aww cute right with smile, Samira smiled at her. Minnie came near me and said Giri I can’t accept another proposal today and moved to Karishma. I got shocked and asked to her why should I do it in lower tone, she turned around and said I know it brother.  yes, I called all my team members as brother and sister expect Samira.

 

I smiled with shyness and took cake from the table, looked back, Samira was standing alone, and I asked her why are you standing alone why didn’t you join with others? She said look at these new couples are talking and Tushar is taking pictures of them, look there Minnie and Karishma are talking about their family matter anyway I was waiting for you.  I said ok and we both started to eat, I said to Samira I want to ask you something, but I won’t ask now may be later or sometime. She smiled said Giri you are the mysterious good person I have ever met, I said good for you Samira with mystery smile.

 

I asked her by the way, do you love anyone? Or having a crush on someone. She said yes, I have a crush and started to blush, when said this inner me started to cry and stomach started to twisting. I asked who is he? With stammering, she said his name is Jimin. I asked who is he, and where is he? She smiled asked me haven’t you watched BTS songs, I said no but I heard of them and asked why are you asking this now. She said champ, bts is my favorite band, Jimin is one of the team members.

 

Thank god in a minute, you just sank a small titanic. I started to laugh and said you belong to bts army and stopped telling. She asked me which is your favorite band, I said I’m kind of old stuff guy, I like BACKSTREET BOYS. She said oh, not bad. Yes, not worse than BTS. I said yes and nodded my head.

 

At mean time, Karishma called me and Samira to join them to take pics, we all took pictures together, and I saw Tushar, blinked my eye and pointed Samira to him, he understood it and asked Samira to stand with me, so he will take pictures. I took my phone out of my pocket and went to turn on camera to take a selfie with Samira, Karishma said guys come let’s go we took 30 minutes to this, Tushar said we all are HR we can do whatever we want, Karishma said yes you are right but everything you should do in our office bay not at Cafeteria, and all were moving back to bay.  Goddamn Karishma why can’t wait for 5 more minutes, someone tapped on my shoulder, it was Samira, and she said why your phone camera is turned on, I started to blabber saying oh I don’t know how and may be opened by mistake. She saw my blabbering and said Giri calm down, I didn’t ask you anything strange. She asked have we took any selfies before, I said no.

 

She said come let’s take few pictures and I took pictures in cafeteria and outside too, then she said come let’s go we both took extra  10 minutes for this, I said yes, let’s go before Karishma barks us.

 

Later that day, after office I went to my apartment, I was watching TV and my phone was nearby me in sofa, a text popped up, and it was Saran “guys can you share the pic we took”. In a sec, Tushar sent all the pictures in WhatsApp group. All said thank you to Tushar. Reacted with heart emojis. Samira texted me on Instagram asking that “Hey where are the pictures, we both took”. I totally forgot about the pictures and I texted her back, will send you in 5 minutes. I sent her and the pictures in WhatsApp, and he replied on Instagram saying “thank you”.

 

I looked all the pictures we took; I said Samira, you are the second most beautiful girl I have ever seen in my life and blushing at her pic. I took some pictures of the team and posted it on my Instagram along with selfie’s I took with Samira in that I mentioned “the best team I had ever got and the best friend in girl for the post I posted with Samira. In second, I got a comment from Samira.

 

“You are the sweetest man alive” and put stories of all pictures took today and pictures with Samira were only seen by my close friend option. That night I was in blue moon and enjoying it. Without realizing, I fell in love with Samira.

I went to my balcony and saw the moon and stars; I said all these years I thought Twinkling stars are beautiful, and I smiled and apologized twinkle you are always my Fist love, but now I saw a girl who is beautiful than the moon. Let’s see how it goes.

 

Message popped up in my phone,

it was from his mom, the message was” who is that Muslim girl near you?”

He replied, she is just a good friend. Again, he got a text from saran it was “Bro finally you took a picture with her laughing emoji” I replied yeah with hugging emoji. And I kept the phone in my pocket and went back to my room and put my phone in charger and slept with Happiness.

 

Next day, I went to office,

Minnie was sitting in her workspace she saw me coming and called me Giri come here with happiness and smile on my face, she said I think you are so happy about what happened yesterday I said yes, I’m happy, Giri did you propose her? She asked, I said no! No! With shock and asked how did you know that I have feeling for her and I only realized last night I’m in love with her but how you know it. Karishma came from behind with Tushar, Harsha, and Saran. Karishma said they way you speak with her is different. What different, I asked. Tushar said whenever you speak with her, you always smile and your voice tone will be low mostly you stammer around her but when you speak to these girls your voice will be high and sarcasm will be there but limited. Harsha said we all know you are an introvert, but with us, you are a little extrovert because you talk too much.

 

I said yes you are right when I’m comfortable I will be extroverted introvert but while I see her I feel shy and happy to hear her voice. Saran said Giri bro yesterday you took pictures with her alone, but you didn’t tell us and I smiled with shyness, Minnie said look our Giri is feeling shy, Karishma smiled and saw through glasses and said guys she is coming, I asked who?  Tushar said your GF bro? I turned back at the time she opened the door and came in, she said hi to me, I started to blush at her and said hi. Minnie saw my face, and she pinched my lap and said god Giri stop blushing she might out, Harsha said hey wipe off your lips and smiled. I wiped off.

 

Samira asked what Giri eating something without sharing it with me, I said no! No! Samira nothing. She smiled at me and said, champ. Minnie asked Samira why dear so late, Samira said yeah, I woke up so late that’s why I’m late today. I said actually this is not late you came only 15 minutes late, Samira said I know but Karishma is here, and we should tell her right why we are late, I said yes, yes. Minnie said Giri when we ask her you don’t need to interfere and Karishma knows that she is not late, and you always come whenever we ask something to her keep defending her. Minnie said this in funny way and Samira said Giri is my best bud here, so he supports me, saran said yeah! Yeah! You are right he is your best bud and saw me laughed.

 

Samira saw saran and said all ok how is your first day in being as a boyfriend, not bad as world war. We all laughed at what saran said, even it is a lame joke.

 

 

 

 

CHAPTER-3

Jealousy over his friend   Emotions in Conflict.

 

6 months passed, we all were working sincerely on our project, it was Friday morning and me, Tushar, Karisma and Minnie were working in office. Minnie’s phone was ringing she picked the phone, and I was standing across her table I was looking at my laptop, Minnie’s voice got tensed and said what and how did it happen, ok! Ok! We will come there, Kamraj hospital, right. Minnie said guys I got a call from Saran, and it is important, Tushar said Minnie tell what is it? Minnie said Samira met an accident and now admitted in hospital. I shouted at Minnie, you should have said this first, ok, because I went mad and angry when she said this.

 

Karishma said Giri cool ok and Minnie which hospital we should go. Minnie said Kamaraj hospital and sorry Giri. I said it’s ok I’m too sorry, Tushar said to Karishma in these 6 months this is the first time I'm seeing Giri bro getting angry. Karishma said that is love that Giri has on her, but he should tell her soon.

 

We all left the office and went to hospital for a few minutes. Minnie called saran asked at which room is Samira admitted and kept the phone, I asked her which room, Minnie said 5^th floor 507 room number. We all went to that floor, and I was running to find the room and I reached the room and I opened the room, went inside and saw, got shocked and came out. Minnie came near me asked what I started to cry but tear didn’t come, when I went inside Saran was touching her leg and talking with Samira. Minnie came outside and asked me why Giri you came out and asked me why are you standing here. I said to her when I went inside, I saw saran touching her leg talking to her happily.

Minnie asked me, are you feeling jealousy? I said to her, I don’t know but whenever I see someone talking with her, I feel Jealousy, but I can’t do anything crying sometimes what if she falls for other guys. Minnie said to me, look Giri, I know you love her to the core, but we don’t know that you love her more than anything. Anyway, Saran has Harsha so why should he try for Samira, and he knows you love her. A month ago, saran told me after Harsha left to Mumbai branch. He sees all the girl as sister here, especially Samira, she is sister to him. I said if you didn’t tell this, my mental would have gone bad and overthinking is my greatest foe and ally.

 

I smiled thinking that whatever I made up before in my mind are going to happen, and I saw at lift, Samira’s mom and dad came near me asked you are Giri, right?

I said, yes aunty, and they were crying, Minnie said aunty don’t cry, nothing happened to her, she is alright come let’s go in. me, Minnie, and Samira parent’s went inside.

 

Samira was on bed laying down and parent’s saw her, again started to cry looking at her fractured right leg. Samira said Mom please don’t cry it is just a fracture nothing happened bad, Tushar asked saran how did you know that she met an accident,  he said bro I was coming to as usual to office  1 km away from our office there was huge crowd and I saw from inside the car saw a girl was on the road with broken leg, in curiosity I went near and saw it was Samira on road I got shocked, I took her to hospital and admitted her, I called Giri bro 2 or more times, but he didn’t pick up then only I called Minnie. When he said this, I took my phone out of my pocket saw, yes there were three missed calls from him. I apologized to saran my phone is in silent mode that’s why I didn’t see and saw Samira with sad face, she saw me with smile and winkled her eye, it meant as chill no problem, Karishma said to me Giri how many times we told you not keep your phone on silent mode. Samira said it’s ok why you guys are scolding him.

 

At the time, a lady doctor came to the room and asked us to keep silent and examine Samira’s leg. Tushar asked doctor is she alright when will she get cure, doctor came near us, she removed her glass and Karishma said are you going to say that only god can save her. We all laughed when she said. Doctor said I removed glass for cleaning the dust and don’t watch more movies.  Samira’s father asked doctor, so when will she get cure?

 

Doctor said nothing to worry about Samira, but she should take rest at least for two months that is good for her. I shouted what, two months? All looked at me.  Minnie said hey calm down her parents and she didn’t shout. You will get caught yourself and reveal your feelings for. I apologized, and I said I shouted because I can’t see her for two months. All laughed, expect Samira’s parents because they were feeling sad for their daughter condition. Doctor said to me don’t worry she will be alright and smiled. Samira saw me and said best friend don’t worry I be back soon there, and I will miss you, I mean I miss you all.

 

After some hours, Samira was taking rest while others went to have lunch with her parents I was only with her, I was sitting on the sofa left side of her she was facing me. I was admiring her beautiful face I was saying a beautiful poem looking at her written by British poet George Gordon Byron.

"She walks in beauty, like the night

Of cloudless climes and starry skies;

And all that's best of dark and bright

Meet in her aspect and her eyes."

 

 

she slowly opened her eye looking at me, when she looked at me, i felt like millions and billions of thunders passing in my stomach it was a wow moment,

She was calling  my name Giri! Giri!  I came back to reality and I asked her what happened, she asked were you sleeping with opened eyes? I said no, I was just thinking about something and went side track, she said you should be conscious all time you shouldn’t overthink like this otherwise you will get any bad phobia by this, she smiled at me. I said ok, I won’t do this. She said Giri these two months I won’t be with you, and you should work had like a pro champ. You are a good man, I smiled at her, I said I don’t know whether I am good guy or not but whenever you say this, I feel happy, and I’m always trying to be good guy.

 

I said to her that I should see her soon with full recovery, she said yes. I will be back soon there. Likewise, I asked her can I come and see you in these two months with happy face, she said no need Giri, you should go to office, and you didn’t go home in this past 8 months you should go and see your family, all these 8 months we and our friends were enjoying too much. I asked her, are you going to taking philosophy class now? in sarcasm, she said Giri no I’m not taking class just asking you to go and visit them ok, I said ok I always respect and obey your words you know that right. She nodded her head, said yes,

 

We both were talking till they all came back, all returned to the room, while coming in saran threw me a juice bottle and Minnie said guys let’s move, we have to go, and she went near Samira and said we will miss you dear and come back soon. Samira said sure. We all said bye to her, her mother said thank you, to us for looking after her and showing show much love to her, Tushar said she is special to us and we left the room.  After coming out of the room, Saran put his shoulder on me and said Giri bro listen I have no any intention on

Samira, she is like a sister to me no wait she is really sister to me understand bro, I asked him why are you saying this to me, he said i know what you feel inside, earlier today I know you saw me touching her leg, but you left once you saw it and I saw your eye’s it was full of anger, jealous and sad. I said no bro.

i didn’t feel anything like that, he looked at Minnie. he said Minnie told me everything.

 

I saw Minnie and asked her why did you tell him. Minnie said Giri I know about you if one good or bad thing happens in your life you will always overthink about it and overthink again and again, it will affect your mental health so I told him, if you hear from him. You will be calm and happy.

 

I said yes, you are right, Tushar bro put his hand on my shoulders from right still saran was too putting his hands on my shoulder, Tushar bro said anyway Giri bro, you should tell her love otherwise you will get affected by it, you should tell her soon. Karishma said Giri you have two months’ time and text her every day, in these days she should understand that you love her,

i said i will do it.

 

Karishma said don’t focus too much on this and lose your job and smiled.Saran said look our head scares us, and now she is proving that she is head of the table, we all laughed at her. Reached the parking and I took a taxi, and we went back to our home.

 

 

 

Chapter-4

Love's Call: Bridging Companies for Heart's True Mate.

 

Few weeks passed, Our team got good appreciation from COO and CEO Shane McMahon.  They even said the best team in this decade. They also increased our salary, doubled it, we all were happy but I can’t be happy fully because Samira helped me in these weeks for the achievement we are getting praised by CEO and COO.

 

She didn’t get any hike because of her accident.  I was upset because we all are enjoying in her success. I video called Samira about this, she was happy, but she saw my sad face and asked what happened? We all got appreciation for the work you did. She said look, I helped you, and you worked on it. It is your success, Giri. I know, but I feel sad because you didn’t get anything, she smiled at me and said lets one thing, I asked what? You give me the share of doubled salary with smile, I said it is all yours, she said no don’t need it and all I needed is your victory and our victory. we were talking for some hours and went to sleep.

 

Few weeks later

 

I came to office in a hurry because I went for a trip with my school friends and reached Chennai late by 2am and I slept till 8:50 am, now the time is 9:25 am

 

When I went to meeting room, all were in serious discussions, I asked to Tushar what happened bro all in serious face did any of our board member died or are we getting laid off and laughed, all looked at me and Tushar said you are crazy bro with sad face. Minnie asked don’t you know what happened by the way why you didn’t pick the call from last night.

Guys last night I was traveling back to Chennai and both my phone and power bank I forgot to charge my mobile, I took my phone and put in charge which is attached to the table.

 

Now I asked, tell me guys why are you all serious and what happened.

Saran said wait bro let Karishma come she is one should announce it officially to us, Tushar said yes saran is right even Minnie said same thing.

 

I said you guys this isn’t a Movie blockbuster success, this just a regular meeting and you guys making it up scene, making me laugh at the same time anxious with medium laughter. Minnie said laugh man once she comes and tell you what happened. I said let’s see, sister.

 

Karishma came in and saw us, she especially saw me, she became sad. I said to Karishma these are guys making scene about the news you are going to convey us, what happened Karishma what is that? She asked me when did Samira spoken to you or texted you before, I said it would be 3 weeks before. Why what happened to her? “Hello Giri this is Miss Granger, I know you are searching for someone that you love, and I know where she is, and I have attached some details, so you can find her, please don’t try to find who am I, this email ID will get deleted within 24 hours.”

 

I opened the file there were three pictures, it was Samira’s picture first picture was she is sitting in a coffee shop with some people, I got shocked and started to smile looking at her after two months of her disappearance and I crosschecked many times, I started to feel happy and tear came. 2^nd picture was someone took her ID card picture of the company she is working now, The company name is Red Raven Solutions, and it is located in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh and I got suspicious and opened google saw searched for this company and the result was positive, there  is a company in that name and I came back to the mail and I saw the third picture it was a picture of an apartment and I  searched that apartment details using Google Lens and the apartment name is mentioned as   it was near to office. I saved all the details and picture of it in a separate file; I turned off my laptop and I went to bed happily saying thank you Hermoine or Harry Potter whoever sent me this.

Yearning Heart: His Love, A Suprise to Her.

November 12^th

Morning. I went to office; I called my friends to meeting room who were working sincerely on watching YouTube videos. They came in, Saran asked why bro, you called me, I was working on a project. I said ah yes, I saw your project, you were watching Modi speech. Tushar bro said what? Are you watching Modi video in office time? I said stop, I know what were you watching. I smiled and said guys, I have a surprise for all you.

 

Minnie said Giri i have never seen you this much happier past two months, Karishma said yes, it’s good to see you back… I smiled and said stop talking girls, listen to me first. Minnie said ok, spit out? I took my laptop from my bag, turned it on and showed them the mail and pictures. Explained to them where is she, all got surprised and Tushar asked how bro who sent you this detail? I said I don’t know, bro. Saran said we should find who sent you this? I said nah in that email it mentioned as0 “Don’t try to find me” Karishma asked ok Giri what are you going to do with these details? Minnie said I too have the same doubt.

 

Saran asked me are you going to Shimla like Suriya went to meet Sameera in “vaaranam aayiram” movie. Without hesitation I said yes, I am going, Minnie laughed, Karishma asked why are you laughing? It was Zoom interview day and as per schedule my time slot was on 10am, I was getting ready and sat In front of my laptop at 9:55 am, and I was waiting for it, but at 10 am my internet Wi-Fi got some issue and the net was not working I got tensed,  my phone was ringing, and it was one of the interviewer her name is Riddhi Shaw, she said Giri we are waiting for you the panel is open, I said sorry mam my internet got some issue and i will resolve it soon mam. She said ok i will reschedule it on 3pm, and you must resolve it soon, I said yes, I called the customer care told them about the issue but for my bad time they came at 3 pm only, while customer service guy servicing it. I got call from Riddhi, i told sorry mam, service boy came now, and they are fixing my internet.

Riddhi said sorry Giri we can’t proceed with you further you are getting rejected, I said mam what can I do if this internet gets issue and i you think I’m not interested in interview why am I telling you that internet issue I would have told that I’m not interested.  She said ok Giri wait our COO wants to talk with you, I said ok and a man came online said Hi Giri this is Paul the COO of this company I was hearing you while you were speaking with Riddhi and I know what issue you are going through and I am rescheduling the interview again, but this will be last time after that no excuse try after 4 months, I said ok and asked when is the interview, Paul said at 10pm tonight resolve the issue and take rest, will see you at 10pm I am going to interview you. I said ok and felt a big relief and fell on bed, in few minutes the issue was resolved.  Time passed to 10 and the interview started, Paul said hi Giri how are you? At noon, you were nervous and tensed, are you ok now? I said yes sir, I am ok now.

Paul said Giri i am going to take a regular interview Question; i will just ask two question, answers it from your heart. I said ok sir, Paul asked will you be as dedicated and working hard like I saw you today that urge for attending interview? I said yes sir but working hard is not my type, but I will do the work in smart way, be the champion worker for this company you will see the dedication 100%. He said ok cool champion and next question will you serve in this company for at least 2 years, why I am asking this because while seeing experience in every company you worked for only 1 year or less than that, I won’t ask you the reason you were working less than 2 years in a company. I said sir i can promise you i will work here for a year if i work more than 1 year that means I love this company but right now I can assure you i will be there for 2 years or more.

 

Paul said Giri if you attended the interview at morning, you might have get rejected but the nature or god wanted me interview, I was confused. He said it’s ok Giri, you are going to Shimla by Saturday through flight and ticket are booked from Coimbatore to Jubbarhatti, i asked why Jubbarhatti? He said Shimla doesn’t have an airport, Jubbarhatti is 22 km away from Shimla, you will land here and go to Shimla by taking taxi or any vehicle, now you get it, I said yes and will be there  anyone to pick me up and what about the accommodation, he said no need to worry Giri, there will be a girl who will pick you up, and her name is Trisha and your accommodation is on Blue valley apartment. I said oh that’s good, even Samira stays there. He said i don’t know about that Trisha booked the apartment. I said thank you, Trisha. The lift reached third floor, I asked which side left or right, she said right and the number is 3D, I said ok, I went near 3D, I was looking at the door and looked other doors I asked why this 3D house door is clumsy and other doors are new and good.  she said this 3D is closed for past 7 months and I don’t know why. I said ok but I hope there is no ghost in here. she smiled weirdly and said no, she gave me the key and asked me to open, I opened the door and I saw the house it was full of dust and dirt, cobbs and smelly. I asked why this place is like this, i turned and saw her she was wearing a mask. so, you know about this and didn’t tell me to wear a mask.

 

She said stop talking, maid will be here now, and she will clean soon, a woman was standing near the door and watching us, but she was frightened, I said Trisha look back someone is here, Trisha saw her, said sister come in, she said she is the maid, I said ok, Trisha talked to her in Hindi, the maid started to clean the house and I asked her what did you were speaking to her, Trisha said nothing, I was telling her that at which time she comes for cleaning at weekend. We all finished eating, while me and Trisha about to leave, Suriya anna called me and said tonight you will get dinner from here and ram will come and serve you. I said thank you anna for the table and food, I saw the restaurant name and said anna I like your restaurant name more than food he said yes Giri I am fan of superstar and Ajith; I said I know that by seeing pictures pf them inside, he said, so I kept this Billa movie name to my restaurant Billa is common for them right. I said super anna and I said see you on Monday morning. He said ok Giri.

 

Trisha and I went back to the apartment, she came inside and saw the house, it was spotless, and the maid was cleaning the bathroom, and she came out and said something to Trisha, maid left. Trisha asked now how is the house, I said now it looks wonderful, she said ok Giri I have to go, you take rest. Saturday and Sunday went like a rocket because I went Suriya anna shop and Trisha’s home.

I woke up early morning and got ready, and I was waiting Samira to leave the time is already 8:30 am, I heard a couple of girls speaking and at that time the clock in my room fell and crashed, I swept the broken glasses from the floor and put it in trash can.  I slowly saw outside from my balcony I saw two girls were walking out of apartment, I couldn’t see clearly who it is, and I can see two girls were walking and they both were wearing hijab and sweaters, so I can’t able to find which one is Samira. I said shit and took my laptop bag and left for office, I wore blue hoodie and in that it was printed as SG in the chest area and on the right-side it was printed as twinkle. I locked the door and walked towards Suriya anna shop to have tea,  I went to the shop and sat on regular table, Ram came to me asked bro what you like to have I said please bring me tea and vadai. He said ok bro wait i will bring, I was scrolling my mobile, I got a call from Tushar bro, I picked the call, I said hi Tushar bro how are you? He said I’m fine, how is Shimla and did you see Samira? Ram came with the tea and vadai; he was standing there. i sipped the tea and said this tea taste like south Indian. I asked him did Samira came here before me. He said yes, she came, had corn soup and left. I said ok bro thank you and paid for that tea, vadai and I left that place. Outside Trisha was waiting for me in her car with her driver Krishna. She picked me up and went to the office.

 

We reached the office and there were only 10 to 15 members working. She walked me to my room and gave me breakfast. The time was 9:45 am. I asked her what work do I have today, she said first week you don’t have anything to do, and you just come sit and go, later week i will tell you what to do. I said happy, good.

 

The day passed fast, and the time is 5pm, and I went to Trisha’s office room and told her I am leaving to the Anna restaurant because I have to follow her. She said you are the only guy stalking a known girl, don’t you know stalking is bad. I said stalking is bad and if we are stalking for a good cause then it’s not bad,  I am just protecting her from far. She said ok bodyguard sir, go fast before she goes there. I said ok bye and left the office and I walked to restaurant and i directly went to the special table to seek her, at there, Suriya anna was sitting and saw me, he said come Giri sit, what you like to have, I said just tea is enough, and he called a waiter and asked him to give me tea. Suriya anna asked me, did you see her? I said no anna, i didn’t see her this morning, I was waiting to see her but at that time, my wall clock fell down crashed, I cleaned it and went to balcony to see her she left already walked far. Suriya anna face changed and asked me in which floor do you live? I said 3^rd floor. He asked me which number? I said it is 3D. When I said this, his face turned into small, and he was freaked out, by seeing this i got confused. He was about to tell me something, Ram came with the tea, he saw Suriya anna and nodded his head in no sign. I saw it and asked what anna, what we’re you saying? He said nothing bro, I was thinking about something. He said it’s 6:15 pm now she will be here in any minute the restaurant is now crowded, and he said thambhi I am going front when she comes, I will give you a ring. I said ok bro. He went to his table.

I was scrolling Instagram and my phone started to ring it was Suriya anna, I raised my head saw the entrance, Samira walked in As I saw her again amidst the snow-capped mountains of Shimla, my heart skipped a beat. Her beauty, untouched by time, still captivated my soul, and the love I've held for her all these years surged within me like an eternal flame.  I was falling for her again, from distance I was having happy tears yes tear of ecstasy. I saw Suriya anna; I smiled at him said thank-you by giving him a thumbs up sign, and he too smiled at me and gestured his hand towards his heart by saying welcome and enjoy. I was admiring her. She was there with another girl, she was so happy, laughing and enjoying her life there. Trisha came there and sat near me, she gave me tissue paper and said can you stop slobbering and wipe it. I smiled at her and kept the tissue on the table and I wiped my tears, she said to be honest Giri, I have never seen a guy like you, who came for a girl from a long distance, who is not even your girlfriend and whom you never broke up, all you came for the love you have on her, the one-sided love, better tell her that you love her soon may be on Christmas or new year, still that you have time to understand her.

 

I said I am scared now, what if she sees me, but she says she doesn’t recognize me or wanted avoids me or does she have bf now or married. Trisha said hey stop ok, don’t overthink, and she is not married, and she doesn’t have bf, but you know that she came here without informing you and your friends, so there is high chances of avoiding and ignoring you, so please be ready for everything, I know it is hard. I said ok with a broken smile.

 

I saw Samira, she was about to leave, I said to Trisha ok I am leaving now I have to follow her. She smiled at me and said ok bye bodyguard, Krishna anna will come by 8:30pm to give you dinner. Samira and her friend left the restaurant after 5 minutes I left, I was just 50 meter behind her, I covered my head with hoodies, wear mask and coolers. So, she can’t find who am I? She and her were talking. They first reached the apartment and went to third floor by lift, I came to my house after 10 minutes. I was happy that night and after having dinner, I called Tushar bro, Minnie sister, Karishma sister, and saran bro told them what happened they were too happy for me. I slept like that I have achieved something.

 

Same thing was happening on Tuesday to Thursday the routine following her from restaurant to apartment.

 

Day 5 Friday  23^rd November

As usual, I was following but today, she was only there because her friend was in apartment, the street we walk was too dark today because it was no moon day and I was 52 meter away from today I was wearing full black costume so no one can’t see me, at that time, some roadside 4 bullies and Bulgar surrounded to steal her money and they were trying to get the money from they wear having knives. Samira saying please leave me and take everything,

 

I don’t know what to do I, was scared to see that soon I saw a 5-foot wall in half demolished I went back of that, and it was snowed fully, and the ground was with full of snow, I took the snow and made it as snow balls and I threw it on them rapidly they didn’t know where it was coming from, they were shouting who are you? Who is it? Who ever it is, come outside. I was to keep on throwing it on them. They were scared even Samira was scared too and one guy saying that hey it might be a ghost or something else 3 of them ran other side of the street, but one guy grabbed Samira’s bag and through the street where I was hiding. I saw him and when he was about to cross me, I just ran into the street speared him on the road and punched his face two times and took the fallen bag from the ground I walked towards Samira, at that time the guy ran away.

I put my head down and walked towards her and gave her the bag, I changed my voice and said please be careful don’t come alone hereafter. i did raise my head, I just went a few steps back and turned back and started to walk pretending that I am not from that area.

 

She said thank you Giri. When she said my name, I was stunned for a minute and turned back, and I saw her she walked towards me, she came near me, she was standing face to face. She removed my hoodies and the coolers. I removed my mask. She smiled at me and I smiled at her, she hugged me, I hugged her back for a minute and we stepped back.

 

I asked her how did you that’s me? She said i saw you on Monday at Suriya anna restaurant. I asked how, there is CCTV camera inside the restaurant and there is TV projecting everyone inside the restaurant, I saw you in TV but at that time I thought it might be someone else but the next day when I saw you again, I confirmed it is you and your eye caught you.

She asked me how you know that I’m here, I said it is confidential I can’t speak her name here, she said why are you giving build up like Voldemort and I asked so why you didn’t come to me and talk. I wanted to avoid you but I know you came here for me so I wanted you to approach me, so I waited.

 

I said super, and I asked her so is this Bulgar is your setup? Actually. I was thinking to this scene to happen, but this Bulgar was real, not made up one. Anyway, I’m happy that you followed me today and helped me like a hero, I said I’m following you from Monday, and I am not a hero just a common man. She asked are you a stalker or my unpaid bodyguard? I said both and smiled, she too smiled and asked me where do you live, I said same apartment where you are living, and she was surprised, asked which floor, I said let me show you, we walked to the apartment, and we went inside the lift and I pressed the 3^rd floor, and she asked me why are we going to 3^rd floor that where I live. I smiled and kept silent, and I went near the 3E, she said stop that’s not you’re your house, that’s where I live, I said I know and walked towards 3D and opened the door. I asked are you shocked, she was really shocked and asked, so you are the new one here, I said yes, her face was scared.

 

I asked her why are you frightened, she said nothing but Giri, I know you are not atheist but at the same time you don’t pray, and I know your mom would have give you some god stuff so fix and light the candle, I was thinking why she is saying this to me now.  I said ok with confusion, and she said if you feel any discomfort inside, please don’t be shy come to house, I and Afrina Sayed are here. I asked, oh her name is Afrina? With a smile, she smiled and said don’t be happy, she has a bf and his name is Rahim sha. I said I don’t care. Me in my mind voice “who needs her I came here for you” I said good night and will see tomorrow, and we have many things to talk. She said ok, good night and hope you sleep well.

 

I came inside and did what Samira said. I called Trisha and said about Samira saw me, and we talked, Trisha was happy, and she said Giri you did it and be positive and go with the flow. I said ok and see you on Monday. She asked what, won’t you come to eat on Saturday and Sunday? I said actually I don’t know tomorrow I’m going to spend time with her. She said ok sir now I’m nothing right ok, see you on Monday and hang the phone, I said hey, hey Trisha. I tried to call her again, but she didn’t pick up. I kept my phone on the table and put the charger and I went to sleep.

 

Next day Morning, I woke up early, and I was getting ready.

The calling bell rang ding-dong, I heard it and went opened the door, it was Samira and her friend Afrina. Samira introduced me to her friend. We shook hands and said hi. she didn’t talk much, was a little weird.  Samira asked so Giri we are going out for having breakfast at Suriya anna restaurant, are you coming with us? I said ok and I go with you, I locked my door.

 

we went to restaurant, Suriya anna saw me and Samira along with her friend coming together he was happily came towards me and asked so do you guys know each other, I said yes anna we are friends in previous company, I went near his ears and said anna I didn’t propose her till now, so please don’t blabber anything. He said ok thambhi I will cook you that today noon, and he went inside, Samira asked what did you ask him to cook, I said I asked him to cook Chilly fried chicken biryani. She said this dish is already here, I said I know, but this one is special for our reunion. And I dragged her to the table. We three sat on the table.

 

Ram came to us and asked what bro do you like to have, I ordered idly, Samira and her friend ordered noodles. Samira looked into my eyes and said Giri you really changed you are talking with people without hesitation, I said some people will change our lives soon and our character will too. She said it is good for you.

 

The food came, we started to eat, and she asked me so Giri what are you doing I know you are not for a trip. I said I’m working in KM infotech, and it is a sub-branch of prime tech. It is a new branch and Paul requested me to join here at the same time came to know that you are here, so I came. She said that’s cool you are growing up in carrier, and I am working in Red Raven solutions, I said I know and don’t ask how you know. She said ok but Giri I’m really happy to see you. She asked so Giri what our friends are doing and how are they, I said all are doing good and Tushar bro is getting divorce next week. She asked why? Minnie is getting good and Karishma too, I think saran and Harsha are going to get married in January. Samira said that’s cool, they are best pair. She asked so Giri what about you, do you love anyone me in my mind voice “my dear lunatic girl; I love you. It is you” I said no Samira no one will love me, but I will tell you about a girl but not now I will tell you later tonight in your home. She said ok and we finished our breakfast.

 

We were having tea in the special table, at that time Trisha came near me and asked won’t you pick the call, I called you many times. I apologized my phone is not with me, it is in apartment, Samira asked who is she? Trisha introduce her self to Samira, saying hi Samira I’m Trisha Giri’s new friend in office, I said Trisha is our COO Paul’s daughter, and Samira was happy to see her, and she said we know that he has a daughter, but we don’t know at this age we didn’t think of. Trisha said you are like Giri he too said that. They were talking for hours.

 

At noon, Suriya anna gave us the special biryani, we all had it me, Samira, Trisha, Afrina, and Suriya anna. Later at night we all went to our places.  I was standing In front of my house and saw Samira and said I'm feeling weird, from the day one I came here people are looking me weirdly everyone from the Maid to even Suriya anna and you see me weird. Samira asked why unusual? Every time when I say I live in this 3D apartment house, their faces changes, and they look frightened. I really don’t why? Samira said Giri chill man, first I am sorry and if you won’t feel scared can I tell you something.  I said ok spit out, she said actually Giri   I don’t know whether it is true or not but  2 years ago in  3d apartment, 18-year-old-girl committed suicide because of love failure after that whoever lived that girls haunts them and after a year they stopped renting people here, this is the story behind their scary reactions, I got scared, and I opened the door and saw inside it was dark, Samira said if you feel scared you can some here. I said ok I will manage, and I will make any ghost as my friend, Samira, then ok.

 

I went inside with scare; i turned on the lights and saw the house differently and I took my phone called Trisha, she picked up, I said why did you rented me into this ghost house and I am frightened now. she said look Giri there is nothing, 4 months before priest came and caught the ghost, so don’t be scared. i asked so there is nothing here right, she said nothing is there now, so go and sleep and hung the phone and I smiled and looked at the balcony mirror. at that time power went off and, in the mirror, I saw something and screamed, ran out the house and knocked Samira’s house door rapidly, she came out and pulled me inside, she asked me what happened Giri, i said there is ghost in my house and can I crash here with you, Afrina was watching us, Samira said ok you can, Afrina closed her room door forcefully.

 

I didn’t ask anything, I went back and locked my house door, came back to Samira and sat on her sofa, she came near me and hold my hand Giri there is nothing and ok come tell me about your love, I smiled and said ok, Samira asked is Trisha is your love. Laughed and said Trisha is a good girl and I met only last week so no, she said by seeing her with you, I thought like that. I said it is ok, I said the girl I was talking about she was from my school and her name is Twinkle, she is my puppy love. I know at that age love is a fantasy  but she is my first good friend in girl, whenever I see her I felt happy and on my birthday she presented me a box and I still have it, and after some years she left to Mumbai, I came to know this by my aunt who was a teacher in my school, twinkle relative girl Shivani was in my class she told to my that she and her family went to Mumbai, years  passed, and I transferred to another school and still she is my heart, later I was introduced to  Facebook from 2010 to 2020 I searched for her, but I can’t find her. Samira said so sweet cute love, if she comes again will you go with her, I said I don’t know whether she is alive, even if she is alive will she remember about me and what if she is married, I said there are so many possibilities, but it is hard to find, she said ok let’s see.

 

At that time we both were talking Minnie video called me I saw Samira, she said pick up I want to talk to her, I picked up, but there were all my gangs with her on the call, Minnie, and others said hi Giri, Saran bro asked how are you?  yeah, bro, I am good. Minnie asked where are you I don’t think you are you in apartment house because your house background will be dark, I said yes, I am with someone special, wait let me show you, and I gave the phone to Samira, she showed her face on the camera and everyone were happy to see her and I said you keep talking I will be back, and I went to restroom, came back after few minutes. Still, they were talking, I sat near Samira and joined the call, Karishma said oh you Giri you are back ok guys let’s tell for what we called at this late night, Minnie said I almost forgot, ok saran please tell saran said ok with shyness, and he said Giri bro and Samira on month December on the 31^st  and January 1^st is my marriage,  you both should come, I said super bro, congratulations, Samira said hey saran I am really happy, congratulations and i will be there. I said we will be there, we talked for few hours with them and we both slept on the sofa when I woke up early morning. I saw Samira was sleeping on my lap, I was looking at her and I decided to not wake her up. I was admiring her beauty, I said hey “Sleeping Beauty” you are my angel. Suddenly her friend came there and woke her up, she woke up, but she was in half sleep so, she dragged her into the room and went near the room, Afrina saw me and said, the sun is up, and there is no ghost there in your room, so you may go to your house.  Me in my mind “I know there is no ghost, I wanted to talk with her be with her for a night, so I acted and came here” I said ok tell her I am going out to meet Trisha and will come back and have lunch. She said ok.

CHAPTER-6

Love's Lasting Imprint: Tracing Memories in the Aftermath of Friendship

 

This is the month of December and tomorrow is my birthday. Today is 13^th of December, and I was in a meeting in the office with co-workers and clients on zoom, Trisha pinged me a text on Zoom chat, the text was “tonight we all going to hang out in your house.” after the meeting ended, I went to Trisha’s office room and asked why are you all hanging out in my house tonight? She said look don’t act like you don’t know, nothing, tomorrow is your birthday, so eventually you came to know that why did I say that, but this plan made by Samira. I smiled, said then ok and left the room.

 

Later that night I was waiting for both Samira and Trisha, it was already 11pm, but still they didn’t come to my house, even Samira’s house is locked. I was getting sad that they said they will hang out tonight, but they didn’t. I even tried calling them, but they didn’t pick the call, I turned on the TV and started to watch star movies. The time was already 11:55pm, I was thinking ok they won’t come, or they will be here tomorrow only. In a second the power went off, and I was scared of darkness, I took my phone and turned on the flashlight.

 

Tuk tuck, my door was knocking, and I went near the door with fear, I opened the door and saw outside, there was no one and I got scared again, I went inside my house again and closed the door. When I turned back and in a sudden the power came back, the color paper cracker burst and Trisha and Samira shouted Happy birthday Giri, first I was frightened by their act, in a second I became happy. Afrina bought cake and kept on the table. Samira gave me the knife and both of them  started to sing birthday song, I cut the cake, gave the first piece to Samira, she took a piece and feed me, and second piece to Trisha, I gave the third piece to Afrina, but she said sorry I don’t eat cake, I asked do you have sugar? In funnier way. Afrina face changed red, it indicated to me that she is angry now, so turned and gave it to Trisha again. Samira took a gift from her bag, she gave it to me, I said thank you, Samira. Trisha also gave me a gift, and it was a new iPhone, I smiled and said thank you my friend.

 

Later, Trisha went to Samira’s house to sleep, now in my house me and Samira were alone. She asked, so you like the gift what Trisha gave? I said yes, but it is just a gift, there is nothing between me and Trisha. Samira’s said ok, actually I wanted to gift you something special, but it didn’t happen. I said ok but what is that gift, she said I will give u a hint, and it is something that you wanted for a long time and years. I said ok, I will find it. She said don’t think about it I will give you on 31^st night and now you after I leave you open the gift I gave. I said ok, she went to her house. I saw the gift it was on the on the table, I went near the table and i opened it. there were three gift one was a Sliver bracelet I took it and wore it on my hand, 2^nd one was a book and it Named as “Martial eagle”, the third one was pendant in that it was named Giri. I was so happy seeing this gift and I took my phone and texted Samira thank you so much my everything my best girl. she replied back with two smiling emoji’s

Later that day, In Suriya anna’s restaurant, I gave them a treat. We all celebrated my birthday there with Trisha, Samira, ram, Afrina, and Suriya anna. That day I was so happy.

Few days passed, it was Christmas Eve my office was decorated with trees, stars, and bells. I went to church with Samira and Trisha was there with her family, but Paul was not there. On Christmas Eve I thought to give a present to Samira because I was feeling so odd and suspicious that she might leave me. so I gave her a gift to her and I asked her to open once she went to the house. She said ok, and we all had cake, we went to Trisha’s home for dinner, and we all had dinner there, Krishna anna dropped us in car to our apartment and I said Samira by 29^th we are leaving to Bangalore for Saran and Harsha’s marriage, she said by which mode of transport are we leaving, I said flight tickets are filled, so we are leaving by train. She said ok and good night Giri see you at morning. I said good night and I said wait don’t forget to open the gift; she said once open the gift I will text you.

 

She went inside her house and I went to mine, I crashed on my bed and was waiting for her text, in few minutes I received a text from her, she texted me “Thank you my dear friend I love this book.”  I sent her two smiling smileys and a heart emojis. The book I gifted her is a romantic book and the name is “The Untold love.”  I slept happily.

 

It was 29^th morning, I packed my bag, and I was waiting for Samira. Trisha called me on phone and said Giri we have to travel far to station come fast. Yes, Trisha is too coming with us because Paul was also invited for the Marriage. I went outside my house and locked the door. I was waiting outside, Samira came out of her house and she saw me smiled and said can we move, yes, it is getting late.

 

Afrina came out and saw us, she called Samira and said something, Samira said ok I will come there alone ok don’t be worried, Afrina saw me and said bye with strange smile. I, too, said bye, Samira took her bag and came. I said to Samira, your friend is so strange and acting weird for two months to me, now she is happy and sending off me, Samira said she like that and smiled. We both went to the car, at afternoon we reached station and sat in train. The train started, at that time i didn’t realize this the last travel with Samira.

We reached on 30th, Trisha said I am going to my father’s place and Samira are you coming with me, but Samira apologized Trisha I booked a hotel nearby wedding hall. I said I can take to my uncle, but they would think bad, so it is better you are in hotel. Samira said I know, that’s why I booked the hotel. Trisha’s car driver came to picked her up and Samira booked a cab, the cab came and picked her up. I was waiting for my cousin to pick up, he came by car and I left with him.

 

31^st evening, reception day,
I was getting ready for the reception, I opened my bag and took the blue blazers out, and wore it. I took my phone, captured some selfies. The time was around 5:30 pm, my phone was ringing, It was Trisha, I picked the phone and attended the call, she said hello hi Giri I will be there in 15 minutes, be ready. I said ok and did you call Samira, she said yes, I talked to her, she said that she will to wedding hall in cab. I said ok and Trisha asked me my location and I sent her the location.

 

I was wearing my shoes in my uncle’s lawn, at that time Trisha came to my uncle's home, and she started hit horn, I looked her and said wait I’m coming, I walked to the car, I opened the door and sat in, I saw Trisha and said you look amazing in this saree, she said thank you and once you see Samira you will tell she is gorgeous and more. I smiled and said yes with shy. Likewise, I said today at night we all will be here till  1am right to celebrate new year, she said yes. I said tonight at 11:45 I am going to propose to her at the wedding hall terrace. She said super Giri, I never expected this, I am praying to all good to give you positive hopes.  I smiled at her, she looked at me and said Giri, I have never seen a person like you for every situation, you're just smiling. I said I’m just hiding all my feelings by putting a smiling face for not showing what I really feel inside. She said you are a mysterious person. I again smiled at her.

We reached the hall and parked the car in parking lot and came inside the hall the time is 6:15 pm, I saw my friends were siting in a circle in the corner of the hall in chair.  I and Trisha walked near them and I asked for you are waiting? They all saw me, Tushar bro got up from chair to hug me and said welcome bro, Minnie and Karishma were happy to see me, Karishma said come hero, did you propose her. I said no I didn’t tell her, Minnie said I told you guys before he left, he won’t tell her at any cause. I smiled at her. Trisha introduced her self to my friends, that she is daughter of Trisha. Minnie said actually we know her, we are the one asked to prank you, I said now I remember she already told me that you guy asked her to prank me.

 

Trisha said guys, Giri is going to propose to Samira tonight on this hall terrace, before new year at the time of 11:45pm, so at 11:55pm we should go to terrace to celebrate the new year with new couples. Minnie asked me really Giri? I said yes. Karishma and Tushar said that’s cool, Giri. Minnie said hmm, let’s see witness that tonight. Tushar said all ok bro. Where is Samira? I said she is coming from hotel through a cab. Tushar said ok bro, good. When I turned back to check whether she is arrived or not, from distance from hall entrance I saw a beautiful angel was walking towards us, it was Samira, and she was wearing a golden color saree. I just fell for her again. Trisha saw my face and gave me tissue paper to wipe my mouth.

 

Samira came near us, Minnie, and Karishma hugged her. Minnie asked why did you leave us without informing. Samira said I am sorry for that and for the next time if I leave, I will tell to Giri. Karishma said it ok, but when you left us, we all felt demotivated and sad. I said ok guys stop now Samira is here and today is new year eve, so we all will celebrate new year here after the reception gets over. I asked Minnie, can you please go and ask whether they are coming to celebrate new year.

she said ok I will go and ask but still both saran and Harsha didn’t arrive here yet. we all were talking about random stuff

 

At 7pm the reception started, we all were enjoying it, Saran arrived first, and he went to stage, 6 minutes later Harsha came to the stage. They both were taking pictures with their relatives, family, college, and school friends. we went had our dinner, later we all went to take picture with saran and Harsha, they both were happy to see Samira with me. While photographer taking picture, Minnie was murmuring something in saran’s ear, saran bro saw me and said don’t worry bro we will be there at terrace let’s celebrate. I said ok and smiled. After taking a picture we, all congratulated them and left the stage. The time passed, we all were chit-chatting. At 10:30 pm, saran and Harsha joined us; we all were talking.

 

Now the time is 11:35pm

I saw the time, I looked at Samira, she was sitting nearby me, I went nearby her ears and said i want to tell you something, can we go to the terrace she said actually Giri i too wanted to tell you something, I said then ok come let’s go to terrace. Samira went to terrace first.

 

Tushar called me said bro go and tell what ever you feel, propose her we will be there at 11:55 pm with cake. Saran said bro congrats and said from tomorrow, January 1 you both should be here as couple. I said thank you and left them. I went to the terrace. She was standing near the terrace balcony and watching the city view.

 

I went near her and said Bangalore city is beautiful, right. She said yes and asked what do you want to tell me, I said first you tell. She said ok, you shouldn’t have searched for me, after I left you. She said with tears and anger on her face, when she said this it felt like thunder passing in my heart. I asked why? She said Giri be quite till finish speaking.  She said I know you were worried about me and not focusing on you. I thought you will forget me soon, but you didn’t she asked me why?
